Super product!
After spending years fighting a rubber sink stopper, bought this item and it fits and seals perfectly, only downfall is I wish I had ordered it much sooner!

Sink Stopper
Before we moved, I used this a lot and it worked great. I would recommend this to anyone that has a sink stopper that doesn’t work correctly like I did.

Very good sink stopper
Our new house has an InSinkErator garbage disposal. But, when we moved in, there was not an InSinkErator sink stopper -- just some really cheap stopper than leaked. Our old house had InSinkErator sink stopper so I ordered one for the new house. It works great-- very tight seal to hold water for washing dishes or soaking something, cuts down disposal noise if we place it loosely on the drain so water can readily enter, and it looks more substantial sitting on the edge of the sink when not in use. We are very happy with it.

Very good basic stopper
It does the job. My old one had a lift up top so you could let some water drain without taking the entire plug out. But all in all, they works well.

Works great
This looks and feels almost exactly like the InSinkErator stopper that my inept kitchen remodelers threw out with the old kitchen sink. It seems a little lighter; a little less substantial. My garbage disposal is old enough that a lot more steel and rubber was used back then (maybe the 70's). Nevertheless, this one smoothly pops right in, appears to hold water plenty long enough for me to mop the kitchen floor (just like the old one), and is easy to remove. It looks very attractive, just like the old one. I'm very happy with it. Certainly it is not a water-tight plug, but it does what it is supposed to do.Reviewers that found that the stopper didn't work "at all" to stop water may have newer disposals, made elsewhere in the world. Or maybe they don't even have InSinkErators. Who knows?I'm a little confused by the stories of the manufacturer telling people, "Well, it isn't SUPPOSED to stop water." Not only is it called a "stopper," the print on the back of the packaging says, "The InSinkErator stopper is designed to stop water and food particles from going down the drain." Which is exactly what mine is doing for me.Maybe the service people are just trying to keep from having to refund money to all the unhappy people whose garbage disposals were manufactured in China.

Does Not Leak, Seals Against the Splash Guard
This works great on the kitchen sink disposal drain. For the other reviews here that say it leaks, it doesn't. The key is that the stopper does not seal against the sides of the drain nor does it cover the entire top of the opening. It seals against the splash guard baffle below it. The splash guard needs to sit level on the ridge below it. You have to make sure that the splash guard is in good condition and is flush against the side wall all the way around and has no waves or tears on its upper edge. Better yet, just buy a new splash guard when you buy this stopper.
