Seriously lacking in quality
**If my review helped your decision, please like**As usual, I read as many reviews as I could and researched the ever loving crap out of orthotic house shoes/slippers/sandals. I had a spinal fusion almost 3 years ago but was recently in another car accident. I am constantly working on home projects and chasing my toddler, my knees and back are barking all day everyday.I would have given the product the benefit of the doubt based on my unique circumstances but I just can't. I wore these slippers around my house for a total of 5 hours and they wore down to the nitty gritty. The pictures don't do it justice (sorry for the dog hair distraction). They also caused pain on the tops of my feet which subsequently felt like knifes shooting through my toe bones with every step I took. This might be circumstantial to my medical issues but it took me days to recover.I assume if you are looking for orthotic house shoes you either have a bad back or bad knees, I have both. If you are are willing to invest serious money in your physical comfort and health and you don't just want quality, you NEED it for daily functioning. These are not for you.**If my review helped your decision, please like**

Buy them for comfort, adjust for fit and put up with colors
I am tempted to give 5 stars because these are the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn and this is my second pair. But I had to take off one star because they are too wide and don't come in narrow. I have to take them to a shoe repairer to see the flap closed. When I pull it far enough to stay on my foot, there is not enough Velcro touching to keep it secure. Also, I don't like any of the colors. It comes in black(ugh), and light pink and blue, either of which are too pale, they would immediately show dirt and stains. So this is my second of the animal prints, which I don't like, but anyway because my plantar fasciitis does not hurt when I wear them! I would buy other Vionic shoes if they were attractive, so I suggest they hire someone to design shoes that keep the comfort and are also nice-looking.

Heel fabric worn through after only 6 weeks
Falling apart after 6 weeks.I have worn these around the house for approximately 6 weeks and the fabric at the heels has already worn through. Very disappointed, especially given how much I paid for them.

Great slippers, buy elsewhere
I have purchased the same slippers yearly for the past several years. Usually I buy directly from the good feet store. I don’t know if this last pair was used or is a knock-off but they are nowhere near the same quality as the ones I purchased previously. One, they don’t have the same level of support as the “real” ones. Orthaheel slippers are known for their arch support. On these the arch support was almost non-existent after a month of wear. Two, they wore out extremely quickly. I work from home and wear them everyday but the pairs I’ve purchased elsewhere typically take a full year before the fur/fabric on the slipper insole wears through. This pair it happened after only 4 months of wear. In summary, if you are looking for great slippers I’d recommend these, just buy them from somewhere else.

Machine washable, dry fast. Velcro's rough side is exposed.
My regular size is 9.5, so I bought size 9. The size 9 fits perfectly. I wore them in the morning and evening for about 2 weeks, and they got pretty dirty. The light pink shows all the dirt. So I threw them in the washing machine on the delicate cycle and let them dry by sitting in direct sunlight indoors inside a window near a heater. They got nice and clean, and dried surprisingly fast. Most of the bulk of the sole seems to be rubber, so the fabric layer on top is the only part that needed to get dry, which didn't take long. The thick padded part that goes over the top of the foot was the slowest to get dry but even that was dry by evening (and I only ran the wash about noon) on time to wear around the house for a while before bed. I suppose it would take longer to dry in cold or humid air. The only thing I didn't like about these is the "hook" part of the velcro, because it is exposed on the outside of the slipper top, and I was wearing stockings with these the first day, and I crossed my feet and the hooks caught my stocking and made a rip. So, I got out some pink yarn and a crochet hook and made a little patch of pink material to cover up the exposed velcro hooks on each slipper. I am attaching a picture of this so you can see how to do it (provided you know how to crochet--I can't teach that here on Amazon, sorry). Since my feet are different from each other, one slipper's velcro has to be fastened differently than the other, so I had to crochet different size/shape patches for each slipper. So with these patches I made, I can wear stockings and these slippers at the same time without trouble when crossing my feet. Those little patches of pink material stayed on very well for the last 2 weeks including when I washed the slippers.

I am sooooo happy to get back to being "my" normal
My sister introduced me to these Vionics a few days ago. I broke both of my ankles May of 2016. Oh My!!! I wish I would have known about them. I have been suffering for a long time trying to find something I could wear around the house. Also, recently we bought a new house me with all tile downstairs. These shoes are working wonders. I recently (2 weeks ago) had the hardware removed from the left ankle. I am sooooo happy to get back to being "my" normal. These will be one big piece of the puzzle. I know the pics are ugly... but I'm still healing since hardware removal. Buy these shoes!!!!!

Love them!
These slippers are so comfortable I wish I could wear them as shoes! I already had a pair of the closed toe version in the same pattern (purchased elsewhere) and was so pleased with them I bought these for summer wear. I have flat feet and a heel spur and the arch support is so good that until I take them off I forget I have a problem. They have a good grip and don't leave black marks on laminate flooring. I noticed another reviewer wondered if they might be too wide for someone with narrow feet which I have but I don't find this a problem as they have an adjustable velcro fastening - not mentioned in the description.

Work well for painful heals
I bought these to help with the heal pain and plantar fasciitis and they have helped massively. I have spent a fortune on shoes and insoles with no effect. However, following the success of these slippers I have bought some sandals.

orthoheel slippers size 9 (US) / size 7 (UK)
These slippers are just fantastic. I suffer from a painful sole of the foot condition called metatarsalgia and wearing these slippers I get instant and continual relief. These slippers were originally designed by a podiatrist and are just right. This is my 4th pair - I live in them !!

Wonderful! Helped my PF problem.
Someone with a narrow foot might slide around in these if they aren't wearing socks, but for my very wide feet they fit well. These are helping my plantar fasciitis tremendously. I never go barefoot, and always wear these in the house. Great arch support!
