Ender 3 Hotend, Authentic Creality Assembled Hotend Kit 3D Printer Parts with 5X 0.4mm Nozzles for Ender 3 Ender 3 V2 and Ender 3 Pro

I have had my Creality Ender 3 Pro for over 2 1/2 years and this my first hot end replacement. When I first purchased my Ender 3, I had also bought an upgrade from the one that originally came with the printer. From the start I had problems upon problems with first hot end. Everything from clogged nozzle to Z height adjustments, filament breaking in the hot end, even clogged hot end itself (not nozzle). For the past week I had to clear out two clogged nozzles even having to manually push the filament until it was able to slip past the clog.Eventually I had enough and bought this hot end. Right out of the box (Creality packaging) I was impressed. The biggest feature that stood out was the pneumatic coupler on the hot end itself! However, the next feature I liked was the filament tube when inserted goes in deep all the way through the cooling fin block. The filament has a short travel to the nozzle which will also eliminate clogging as well. The removal and re-install of the new hot end took about an hour, with the usual feeding the wires through the mesh tubing. I found if you tape the ends of the wires together it will slide/move easier through the mesh tubing. I also took the time to inspect all the connections to the mother board and tightened wire connections and ensured plastic connectors were also seated/secured properly. Buttoned up everything, zip tied the wires, etc..Fired up the printer, bed leveled, and started a print. BANG! No hesitation, smooth and the filament laid down perfectly. I didn't have to adjust the Z height access, lucked out I guess lol. Is the the best top of the line hot end? No, but it is a drastic improvement to my old hot end by a long shot. I have found that while we all shop by price, even the most expensive top of the line doesn't mean it is better, the exact opposite. I gave this new hot end 5 stars right out of the gate because of the immediate performance improvement! I like the fact the unit was preassembled (plug and play basically.) The dimensions were spot on and the build quality was immediately apparent!! Thanks to all the reviewers who's reviews helped me to decide on purchasing this hot end.

Direct swap. No leaks. No issues at all and it fixed my clogging/under extruding/extruder skip problems. My printer hasn't run this good since it was new. Someone left a review with detailed instructions just in case anyone might be replacing their hotend for the first time like me. This was definitely worth the price.

Replaced one that had a blob and broke the wires etc. Working like a charm. To fetch it through the wire loom, I simply taped the board end to the wires at the hot end and used the old wire to pull through the loom. Works nicely when done that way

I bought this hot end as a direct replacement for my Ender 3 Pro. While installation seemed straightforward and the part initially functioned, I started encountering serious issues removing filament after prints — specifically, swollen filament ends that would get stuck at the extruder coupler. (see photo)After weeks of troubleshooting and trying every suggested fix (re-seating the nozzle, adjusting temperature, cleaning the hot end, etc.), I finally discovered the root cause: the included Bowden tube has a slightly larger inner diameter than the original, causing the molten filament end to bulge and become too wide to pull back through the tube or coupler.Despite being advertised as a direct replacement, it omitted the fact that the Bowden tube clearly did not have the correct inner diameter size, be properly trimmed, fitted, or compatible. Once I reinstalled my original Bowden tube, the problem disappeared instantly.This misleading omission cost me a huge amount of time and frustration. If you’re buying this for a quick fix — replace the tube immediately with one you trust or re-cut your original to properly seat it yourself, and toss the one from the package in the trash.Additional note: I do recommend buyers to consider this product as I believe the posted product information will soon include this caveat of the size difference. The replacement part with my modification is still working just fine. Plus customers could read this review and check their own size requirements. Finally, this company did offer compensation for the difficulties I encountered. Hence, the company seems very fair and conscientious.
