At the waist, knees and ankles there are adjustable straps the ones on the waist are in the back of the pants that are elastic you can pull towards each other and the knee and ankle are Velcro flaps you can pull excess into and then fold the flap over

Large will strap down tighter. But sounds like you need xx large size
