Subzero 10 Inch Bear Claw Ice Scraper for Windshield & Windows (16721)

Best scraper I've ever had. I love that the cheapest one I ever bought is also the best. Simple design, works great. Ordering a couple more at this price since I'm always losing them between seasons.

Several of us (photographers) brought ice scrapers on our trip. We not only needed it for windshields but it worked the best out of all the scrapers getting frost off the windows of our snow coach. For a small product it packs a punch. Highly recommend

Believe it or not, even in San Diego we sometimes have frost on our windshields - And it's just about impossible to find ice scrapers locally. This ice scraper has a hard plastic edge that seems to scrape frost on both the push and pull motions I noticed. It's plastic so it won't damage your window and fits the curvature of the windshield. The handle is ribbed for lightness and strength and rounded so it fits your hand comfortably.

Nice compact size...easy to hold. Thick & sturdy, not flimsy. Works like a charm a fits in the glove box

This is not your flimsy Chinese made Ice Scraper, because it is made here in the USA. I have had several Ice Scrapers with nice soft foam handles, but they only seem to last one season before the foam on the handle disintegrates. On top of that they frequently are made of plastic that is too soft to last. I have yet to use this one, but I can tell from just holding and trying to bend it that it is solidly made out of some harder plastic that doesn't flex much at all. They even had the forethought to see to that they got some slightly rougher surface where your thumb goes so it doesn't slip when you press. And it has a nice big 1/2" hole at the end of the handle so you can hang it somewhere or put a lanyard on it, so you don't lose it if you accidentally drop it in the snow. That it has a harder plastic handle won't bother me. After all, it is on a very rare occasion that I don't have gloves on when getting ice off the windshield, so I don't need that spongy stuff that just falls apart anyway, I don't get why they don't put a nice US flag somewhere on the page or at least mention it in the description. If you are scrolling down the list of options of Ice Scrapers getting this USA Made one, especially at this price point, is a no-brainer and helps bring manufacturing back stateside without the government having to lift a finger.

The Subzero 10-Inch Bear Claw Ice Scraper turned out to be far more effective than I expected for its size. The claw-style edge bites through frost and thicker ice quickly. Really good for the price imo.

Not real good at getting ice off wind shield

The scraper does the job and looks like it can handle a good amount of “abuse”, but it’s been a mild winter, so it hasn’t been used too often this year, which is fine by me! 😬
