My Pillow Pet Silly Monkey - Small (Brown)

I bought this by accident, I really wanted the bigger one for my 2 year old grandson. But it turned out okay. The monkey's fur is so soft and silky. He couldn't stop from hugging his new pet monkey. He loved this one and I did too. So we kept it and I still bought the bigger one for him. It was so cute. When the bigger one came he went and got the smaller one and I thought he was going to sit with both of them on the couch and instead he handed me back the smaller one and was just as happy when he got the smaller one with the larger one. But now a days the three of them are a neat little family and he plays with both of them and sleeps with them also.

Nap times would be a struggle at times before the pillow pet. He doesn't mind going down so much now. It seems pretty comfortable. I am sure it will last for years as my oldest son has multiple pillow pets and has had them for a long time.Keep in mind that when they say small, they mean small. I didn't read the size clearly enough, but no big deal. It suits a purpose.

The 11" is the small version of a Pillow Pet. Unfolded it's about the size of a piece of copy paper. The 11" measurement must be head to tail, because the pillow part is small. That said, despite her initial disappointment, it is the perfect size for my 10 yr old. Folded it makes a nice travel pillow. Plush is very soft. Can't comment on durability as we haven't had very long, and it is not put through the extensive love/abuse that a smaller child would inflict. Expensive for a stuffed animal, but you pay for the uniqueness. My daughter purchased it with her birthday money, and is pleased with her acquisition.

This item was the perfect pick for my little guy's first crib companion. It's small size is perfect for his size. We got it for him just after he turned a year and he's now 18 months and it's still in great condition. The label says surface clean only but I have had to stick it in the washer and it held up great. I just let it air dry and brushed out the fur. Because it's a genuine Pillow Pet, it doesn't look or feel cheap like many of the knock-offs. The monkey pillow has become a necessity at sleep time and my little one cannot sleep without it. I plan to get him the bigger monkey Pillow Pet when this one gets too small for him. If you're looking for something for an older child to sleep with, I'd recommend getting the full size Pillow Pet. The smaller size is very cute but for an older child is only as useful as a small stuffed animal.

I bought one of these as a retail store and loved it. I put it in the wash and dryer once and it did fine. The second time around the dryer burnt the tips of the hair, making it rough to touch. However, I bought two of these just to be safe and they are just like the one I bought at the retail store. Next time I'll make sure to let it air dry or stick it in a pillow case to dry.

I had bought the larger one for my oldest grandson and he just loved it. I bought this one to go along with the larger one. He loves it so much that he doesn't want his younger brother to touch it. I bought the Turtle Pillow Pet for the younger grandson.

lol this is a fun Pillow Monkey that my five year old daughter loves and it has lasted and it is durable. other then a stuffed pillow called a monkey there is not educational value to a little one. but it is still fun soft made well does not come apart it is big fluffy opens and closes well.

Bought this for a friend who has an obsession with monkey. She seems to really like it!
