Product is as advertised

I decided to give this Lavazza blend a try, since it was cheaper than the caffè Borbone brand I've been buying for a while. I used to get Kimbo (my favorite espresso brand), but then they discontinued their espresso point capsules. These Lavazza capsules are compatible with my espresso point machine, as they should. That's where the pros end. With this particular blend, my coffee comes out lukewarm no matter what I do with my brewing. Lavazza put 2 capsules in each package, so, once opened, you'll have to decide how to store the remaining capsule: very inconvenient and annoying. Borbone and Kimbo both seal each individual capsule for all their coffee. Taste and quality wise, this Lavazza blend doesn't even come close to the flavor, aroma and intensity of brands like Borbone and Kimbo. The coffee is not terrible, I guess. It's just not that good and has nothing special/memorable about it. I believe Lavazza went for a blend that could appeal to most people without tasting too much of anything. It actually reminds me of Starbucks espresso: mediocre at best and utterly forgettable. If you like Starbucks, you'll probably like this bland Lavazza blend (pun intended). If you're looking for a truly memorable Italian espresso, like me, you'll want to pass on this blend and choose Borbone instead (since Kimbo is no longer available). This is the first and last time I'll be ordering this Lavazza blend: now I know why it's cheaper than Borbone.
