I had this question as well! I always wear a 9.5 across the board, sometimes a 10 in heels. I actually had to go with the size 9 on these and the fit is perfect!! ( I had ordered in the 10 and there were HUGE!) I LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!!

I would rate these in the middle as far as arch support - not the best but not the worst. They are comfortable sandals though and I like them very much.
