Plug and Play for use in BMW e36 with HK setup.
Allows you to add a aftermarket head unit with ISO connections, plug and play no splicing of wires. For E36 BMW use, you do not wiring to connect to the 6 cd player in the trunk. It just delivers the rest. the power amp under the back seat works great with it. worth every penny

Pins came out of plug
The adapter itself works great and fits but when I went to go put in the black one all the pins came out of the plug. Seems like they didn't put them into the plug all the way and they just fell out.

Saved so much time!
This made installing my aftermarket head unit SO EASY. I easily saved 45 mins in crimping wires - it just worked. Connected one end to my factory BMW harness and the other end (ISOs) to my Blaupunkt and voila. Done.

Works on E36 with HK, but not plug 'n play!
I have a '99 BMW 328i with the HK system and this DID work, but it was not plug 'n play. The large, main plug plugs right into the OEM harness, but the other small 2 need to be cut and spliced into your headunits harness. Fortunately the color-coding is very simple, EXCEPT the blue wire. You will need to plug the blue wire from the harness into the blue & white wire of the headunit for the amp to work.
