Lily's Sweets Extra Dark Chocolate, 2.8 Ounce - 12 Pack

Another superior Lily's product and a very good one to add to the rotation. This has 70% cocoa content and the flavor is more intense than the regular dark Lily's. Of course it still has the high fiber content and the better sweeteners than the crappy competition sold in drug stores. When will they learn that maltitol causes digestive upset and it has almost as many calories as sugar. Lily uses stevia and erythritol. The latter has no calories and there is less digestive upset than maltitol, lactitol and the other sugar alcohols.

Not only is it difficult to find this brand of stevia sweetened dark chocolate on the island of Oahu, it rarely goes on sale. The last time it was, is was priced at $3.76 including tax. So at $4.17 per bar, it's a bit pricey but it's well worth the cost. The pleasantly pronounced taste of the cacao is deep, rich and flavorful. Not burnt or bitter. If you're like me and can no longer eat anything containing refined sugar, then this stevia sweetened chocolate will be a wonderful treat. For people who are still able to consume sugary foods, this chocolate may not appeal as much because your tastebuds will be accustomed to refined sugar.

Because of elevated blood sugar I’ve had to switch over to differently sweetened chocolate, and can’t eat any of the other fake sugars. I’ve tried a variety of chocolate bars with alternate sweeteners and this is my favorite. I really like the flavor, and I only eat two squares at a time so each bar lasts for days. I only gave them four stars though because the texture is a little weird, I prefer something that melts better/differently when chewed, so I normally just put two squares in my mouth and suck on them to get that experience.

So disappointed. I love "Lily's Chocolate" and thought this was a great deal compared to buying it in the store. Although the label says "Best by 11/1/2017 - I presume this is the US date, not European because that would mean January 11 - the quality is not good. I have 5 bars left from the 12, and so far 3 looked like the picture I added. Not buying from this seller again.

This is an outstanding product! The quality and flavor of this chocolate has zero stevia aftertaste. I consume a lot of raw cacao for its many benefits and was having to mix my own for quality of ingredients purposes until we found this product. We use the chips in paleo macadamia nut butter cookies out of The Plant Paradox cookbook and they are divine! Great for treating your little ones too without a sugar hit and you are feeding their gut.

This is absolutely the best tasting sugar free dark chocolate I have found. After losing 30 lbs on an anti-inflammatory diet, I missed my chocolate. Sugar is inflammatory but Stevia no so much. Chocolate has some phyto chemical benefits. For me, this is the best way to indulge in chocolate without undoing all the benefits of eating low inflammatory foods.

If you have purchased this product with the dark brown labeled bars be warned -- the new version with the yellow labeled bars, which I just received, does NOT have the same taste. Both the Nutrition Facts and the ingredients list on the new version are slightly different and IMHO have a less pleasing taste.If Amazon accepted returns on this product I would have returned all bars except the 3 I have eaten. I tried 3 bars on different days to confirm that they are really different. Now I am stuck with the rest and very disappointed in Lily's.

Disappointed, product is old/stale!! Though not past expiration.Returning. I buy this regularly from whole foods and it has never looked/tasted bad like this!!
