A single application once every 2–3 months is generally sufficient for most uses. I have used it successfully on: Exhaust fan and ceiling fan bearings Mixer/grinder bearings Bicycle bearings, gears, and chain Car rubber components (door beading, window channels, rubber bushes, stabilizer links, shock absorber bushings, door seals, window seals, boot seal) Car door locks and boot lock Window glass channels for smoother movement For metal parts with rust buildup, it is recommended to first apply WD-40, wait about 30 minutes, and then use this silicone spray. This product does not remove rust or free jammed parts—it is primarily meant for lubrication and protection. One improvement I would suggest is including a straw nozzle for precise application, as offered by some other brands. Compared to products like Michelin silicone spray, this is a more cost-effective option. Important notes: This is not a paint protector. If you are looking for gloss or shine, use a dedicated silicone polish or detailing spray. While it works well on rubber, do not use it on V-belts, as it can cause slipping and may lead to serious issues.
