Excellent battery powered string trimmer
This purchase was a replacement for an exact same cordless string trimmer that I had basically almost worn out from so much use. It is very light weight, durable and easy to use. I absolutely love it and will expect the same amount of use as my original cordless trimmer.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it! Yeah, it's kind of spendy but it works. As far as people complaining about no battery or charger? They must be reviewing a different one, because this is tool only even though it is not mentioned.

Easy to use and lightweight
I am an old lady that still likes to do her own yard work. I can’t handle the gas powered trimmers and electric makes no sense when you have a big property. This trimmer is super light and so easy to use. Perfect for me. I call it my Granny Trimmer.

Company does not respond.
Contacted Ryobi to refund because a wire was sliced and export. Got an ok and sent it. It was sent back to me with no explanation. Original box, never used. Cannot get the company to reply. Horrible to deal with. They responded to the return then nothing and no way to contact them.

Good quality - functions fine.
It's very similar to one I used to own but came unassembled. I found the instructions for putting it together of little help. The delivery time was much longer than I anticipated due to customs delays. The battery was smaller than the usual 18V so work time was limited. I changed it out for a larger battery I had already.
