Q: Does it say one in a milllion on the back?

Good question, i gave my Mother in Law, i can't check anymore, that's would be great, different.

Q: May I buy the medallion without buying the chain?

I searched for the medallion only too. It wouldn’t work for this necklace because the chain prevents the current one from ever being removed or a new one from being added. This is a nice feature because I’ve never lost the charms! I will say that I ended up buying two of these necklaces to layer (one for each daughter). It looks nice for a while, however the clasp end always ends up in front. If I had to do it again, I’d go the multiple medallion route with a different necklace.
