Nice knife
Looks great. Feels great. Cuts nicely. I love the blue on the handle. The design on the blade is just etched on but that’s ok. The handle is the pretty part.

Beautiful knife and very sharp.
I love this knife, it is ergonomically perfect for my hand. Best paring knife I have ever purchased!

Would but again!!
It has the same shape handle as a shun classic so that’s good, fairly high quality steel/perfect blade shape. the handle is pretty cool and is probably tough enough to bring to work, I’d say it’s worth the $25.** update: After about six weeks I’m really starting to like this knife, a couple of swipes on the sharpening steel and sharper than it was out of the box every time. I think it’s a pretty high-quality blade.

Sharp
I wanted a really sharp paring knife and this one fit the bill. I use it all the time. It can be sharpened. The handle is nice and comfortable in my hand. The color is really pretty. Worth the money!

5” perfection
I do a lot of cooking and have an addiction to nice knives. I was looking for a smaller, everyday knife and found this and I’m so glad I did. Right out of the box this knife is sharp! It’s also sharp looking. The 5” blade is perfect for chopping, slicing, dicing, you name it. It has the perfect heft to it, not too heavy and not too light. Fits perfectly in my hand and very easy to use. I use it every day for meal prep. This would make a very nice gift for the chef in your life. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful, sharp, and light knife.
So far I really love this knife. It is pretty light in your hand, not a heavy knife at all, which I like more than I thought I would when I pulled it out of the box. It's pretty sharp right out of the box, but it did need a few times on ceramic rod to buff it. Now it is really sharp. Blade is thin enough to cut straight thru veg and such, but firm and stiff metal, no give. And the fact that it is a beautiful knife makes it well worth more money.

Love this knife!!
First of all, I received the knife very quickly (just a few days after ordering it). It comes in an attractive box. Right out of the box it is very sharp. Beautiful little knife and very giftable. I will probably order more of these for Christmas. What sold me on this was the review by the chef that said this is a great imitation of a japanese knife, and I agree. It is made in China, but it is beautiful, giftable, and sharp. Also has a good warranty.

Very good steel temper blade, and very attractive
I prefer a harder blade for kitchen use than most offered that are usually RC 54-58. I estimate this blade to be 60+ RC; it holds an edge very well and requires a little extra time when it does need sharpening (with a diamond benchstone followed by a very fine ceramic stone). The laminated steel eases cutting through moist, tender items (tomatoes, fish, meat) as well as being very appealing to my eyes. The handle is also very attractive to me.

Great Knife - Starter for Pre-Teen
Our son (11yo) wanted his own knife as he helps us in the kitchen and we thought this would be a great in-between knife for him. Larger than a paring knife but smaller than a chef's knife. He absolutely loves it and I'll use it on occasion as it's sharp and can cut through meat great.POSITIVESLooks. It does look awesome. Like the picturesPerfect size for smaller handsSharp. It came out of the box sharp. We've had it for 2 months and no need to sharpen yet.Works great on meat and veg. Cutting is effortlessNEGATIVESNot much, but for me I like a more ergo grip. The grip is basic. We have not had it wet either so I can't comment on whether it's slippery when wet (handle is smooth).

Sharp And Beautiful
This knife was so cool that it got stolen from my porch the first time i ordered it, i bet the guy who stole is having fun with a sharp, easy-to-hold, professional chef knife .The handle looks like a mixture of wood and epoxy and it is very admirable to look atI love Chef Knifes :)

Stays sharp and looks great!
I didn't mean for this to be my only knife in my cabin but for the time being, it is so that means it gets used for cutting and chopping everything (not what it's meant for) yet it has stayed surprisingly sharp. I have German and Japanese knives at home and they require regular sharpening with a whet stone. This one has not needed it yet after 2 months of abuse. Great knife.

Beautiful and super sharp!
We have Shun and Wustof knives and this has to be the most stunning knife in our kitchen block. But when paired with the other 2 brands it’s not about looks but holding an edge, and I’m happy to report that so far (30 days) with regular near daily use, it has held its edge and is still razor sharp! The only thing I had to “fix” is the heel of the blade, closest to the handle, comes to a crazy sharp point and I managed to nick myself when unboxing the knife. So I rounded the end of the blade on my whetstone, cause it’s actually to sharp!!!As others have done, I’m tempted to buy all 3 sizes, and for sure is top on my list of future gift ideas!!
