Wow!! Love this stuff!!
We have a small countertop in our hallway that desperately needed some updating. The black granite was in great condition but just very dark. Marble slabs are expensive (I was quoted $300 without installation) and I wasn’t even sure if that was the look I wanted. This contact paper is a great price, relatively easy to install, and I think it looks great! It allows me to see what real marble might look like, and in the meantime it does a great job covering up the black. Installation: the roll wasn’t quite wide enough to be able to use one piece lengthwise, so I had to cut it into strips. I started with the back left corner and lined it up with the wall and the side, and then worked my way towards the front edge. Since the pieces were pretty small I found it easier to get it about 1/4 of the way pressed onto the countertop and then I just pulled off the rest of the lining and smoothed it out the best I could. It was easy to pull up and adjust as needed. I used a spatula with a soft plastic edge to press the bubbles out as much as possible, but there were still bubbles left. I had read that some users had luck with a hair dryer so I gave that a whirl but it didn’t work very well for me. Maybe I was doing it wrong? Who knows. In any case, what I found worked best for those pesky air bubbles I couldn’t press out was to poke a tiny hole in them with a needle and then press the air out that way. It left only very tiny pinpricks that I don’t think are noticeable at all. I struggled with the rounded corner and still am not happy with how that turned out. But, I have enough left over that I might pull that end piece up and try something else to make it smoother. The end result is fantastic!! I think it looks great. It’s thick and feels like it will hold up well. The slight gloss makes it look like an actual countertop. Husband was shocked when he got home. Highly recommend!!

Looks nice!
I bought this to temporarily refresh my kitchen countertops due to the original epoxy chipping off. It looks very nice, almost realistic. It has a glossy surface for easy cleanup. We have a few bubbles here and there but I think is based on the application method. I took my time and slowly peeled off the contact paper while pressing with my plastic putty knife (no bubbles) while my husband peeled it all off and used his putty knife to go over big sections at a time (bubbles). It's easy to peel off if you need to make adjustments but once you really get it on your surface, it sticks very well. The quality is good compared to others. I have 10x10 kitchen & didnt even finish the 2nd roll I purchased (picture only shows one side of kitchen).

Looks nice - if it arrives flat/creased, return it
For the price, it's a nice and easy alternative to replacing countertops. I'm happy with how it turned out. I Others mentioned this and I should've listened - if it arrives creased, exchange it for a product that's not creased. You can't smooth the creases out. Not a huge deal but annoying. Make sure the surface is clean and use a felt squeegee/smoothing tool (plastic doesn't work as well as felt). I had some bubbles but it's not terrible. The seams (I had to cut several pieces) don't look bad. I plan to add latex/acrylic/silicone sealant on the edges/seams. I used a hot glue gun to adhere the edge to the underside of the edge of the counter. Measure the surface before buying and make sure you buy enough/extra material - I had to buy more because I needed just a little more. Thankfully I found the same item but had to search for it and buy from another seller. I anticipate it probably getting scratched/damaged and I hope it doesn't stain or melt (it's supposed to be heat-resistant up to 170 deg F). But for the price I paid, I don't expect it to last forever.

Tough to install perfectly but overall effect is stunning
I purchased this contact paper because I bought an older house with very ugly laminate countertops that do not go with aesthetic at all, but I'm a couple years away from a full kitchen renovation. This peel-and-stick marble gives exactly the effect I ultimately want to achieve with my full renovation. I will say that they were NOT easy to install. I watched a bunch of youtube videos and bought all the items they recommended (exacto knife is CRITICAL, staple gun for under the countertop, multiple sizes and styles of spatula to smooth, caulk for around the sink, etc) and it was still pretty tough. I have definite imperfections (a couple creases, not as clean edges as I'd like in some places, tricky curves by the sink, etc) that I probably will fix at some point by pulling up pieces and replacing them. But that's the thing--you can do that with the peel and stick! And the overall effect is stunning so individual imperfections don't stand out at all. They seem very easy to clean as well, but I'm the type to wipe down my kitchen right away and clean as I go. If you let messes sit, I'd be worried they may stain a bit, but I don't know that for sure. I saw in a Youtube video that tomato-based products are most likely to stain this brand of contact paper. They seem sufficiently waterproof. All in all, I highly recommend this product if you're like me--you hate your current countertops but aren't ready for a full-blown countertop replacement. However if you're looking at this product as more of a permanent solution, DO NOT expect perfection. You'll be disappointed.

This did exactly what I needed it to do. Our old countertop was dated, and this brightened everything up! I made sure to remove my sink before applying the contact paper and that made it much easier to apply! Cleanup is easy, I wipe it down daily with a microfibre cloth and some spray cleaner and there’s been no damage at all.

I purchased this contact paper before to cover my ugly kitchen countertops. It is a really great product, highly recommended. But it was very time consuming and kind of hard to install without 1000 bubbles being left behind. Then I saw a video of applying contact paper to countertops using water and a spray bottle. GAME CHANGER!! So much easier, and leave amazing smooth results. Basically just fill a spray bottle with water, add 1 drop of dish soap. Spray counter just before applying contact paper. The water allows you to readjust and align the paper without it sticking to the surface. Once you have it where you want it you use a smoothing tool to essentially squeegee out the water and adhere the paper to the counter. Honestly the best and easiest way to apply!

Got this for my bathroom counter and it’s holding up amazingly well. Very cheap option to update your bathroom in a hurry and it looks amazing! I’ve had lots of compliments so far. If you use caulk around your sink and backsplash it gives it a nice finished look. It’s holding up well after a few months of frequent use, I would recommend and I would definitely use again.

First time ever applying contact paper, you NEED a squeegee set for an easy application on kitchen countertops. Mine came with a large, medium (good for edges and backsplash) and tiny small one (good for corners and hard to reach areas). It also came with a super sharp precision knife that made all the difference cutting around the sink. I had less than 5 bubbles on my first roll but had more on the second, not sure why there was a difference between rolls. If you get any bubbles just pop them with the knife and smooth it out, good as new. Go slowly and take your time - it’s actually really easy with the right tools! No water or soapy solutions needed. Love the difference it made in my kitchen upgrade!

I don’t waste time when it comes to reviews. I immediately skip the first positive ones and seek out the 1 or 2 stars. Despite doing that, this product is phenomenal. I did a 2022 summer diy project where I covered two hideous table tops that are meant to stay outdoors. Pros. 1. The quality is SUPERB. Not faded. Nor is it light. 2. It can withstand many weather conditions. It’s been through the summers intense heat. Fall and Canada’s crazy blizzard like winter. 3. Cleaning it is a breeze. Damp paper towel, soap and a tad bit of rubbing alcohol. Cons. It’s very time consuming. I would defy buy this again.
