Excellent fertilizer for root feeders!!

Must be quick
Must bury them deep as you can ...they float and the outside shell melts quick and the beads Go everywhere .. So if you plant one and it comes up and float to the top of the water, take it out as soon as you can or it will melt the cover and the beads will scatter.. How good are they...will have wait and see if the plants grow well????

Just push under the soil and they do their thing. My plants thrived.

Works great
I love these for my 75 planted tank. Once a month I pop about 6 of them into the substrate and my plants are growing like crazy. The capsules don't burst open either, making them really easy to handle.

Love this product
Love these fertilizer tabs! My amazon swords and guppy grass blew up first week of using! Definitely worth the money and will be buying again.

Bad product
My Angelfish had no problems until I went cheap and purchased these root capsules. A day after inserting these caps my fish were not very active. Mind you with api root tabs and seachem root tabs my fish were healthy and spawning. I have a 180 gallon tank with angelfish, rams, cories, gouramis all we’re doing great and within days of inserting these caps I have lost 12 fish. Please do not buy I should have read the negative reviews first before going cheap. Buyer beware don’t make my mistake!!!!!!

Didn’t work well as other brands but good price for the quantity I’d recommend for less full planted tanks

Go deep for best results....(Thats what she said)
You really need to go as deep in the substrate as you can to keep the Ammonia from spiking. One inch doesn't cut it. Would recommend at least 3 inches or more. Then depending on the size of tank only do maybe one or two and check ammonia levels. Got a 40 gallon and did probably five tabs. Wish I had done fewer. A couple penetrated the surface of the substrate and had ram them back down. Using organic soil on the bottom of 2-3 inches of blasting sand. Tested Organic soil separate and no ammonia so pretty sure its the tabs. I think that's where my ammonia spike is coming from. Plants love it though....Fish,,,,not so much. Not a bad product just have to be careful.
