Phenomenal
If you’re looking for an entry level model—this is the one for you! There are MINOR imperfections with the paint—but overall the quality is worth a five star rating. It is also large and heavy, which I love!*Note that I am a school teacher, not a doctor or med student.

Perfect for my needs
I utilize the brain model for psychoeducational groups and for my own personal studies. I like that it is color coded according to cortices and special areas. It also comes labeled according to the sensory homonculus and behavior correlates.

Bolt on bottom scratched and ruined my $500 coffee table
For $150 you too can mess up your furniture! Brain came yesterday, something I ordered thru my kids school (thus not verified). Put on table, kid pushed item and because of some lousy engineering scratched the heck out of my table. Should've not ordered Chinese junk, it is always sub par quality.

Great model, horrible accompanying study guide
The product itself is well built and is easy to put together and take apart. The marks are clear. It loses a star for the study guide. I actually did get this to study with and while it does provide the function of each part, it doesn't always mention the actual name of each part. I'm going to have to print out my own study guide I guess, but it does have nice construction.

Delighted with the item.
This brain is Awesome! I gave it as a gift for my daughter at Christmas. She is a ICU nurse. She has many compliments for it. It was bigger than anticipated. The stand for it is great and the magnets hold it together beautifully. I was delighted as was she!

Are the magnets an improvement? Doesn't seem like it.
This just arrived today. The one I received is held together by magnets instead of rods as shown in the product videos. It falls apart too easily.I read some reviews that said it was a little difficult to pull apart with the rods, but Id rather have to pull it apart then it fall apart every time I pick it up.I will be returning it.
