Smooth, sexy.
From the "breathing" lighting to the feel of the keyboard and mouse, this thing is an absolute beast. I've had it for about a week now, but I can honestly say this will be well above anything you'll purchase for under $30 in the store. I play League of Legends, World of Tanks, Battlefield 1, a little mix of everything I suppose, and this mouse/keyboard combo was very easy to get accustomed to. The keyboard types well (I'm in college and have to write a fair few papers), and it does not have a cheap feel to it. You have options for controlling music playback via the keyboard (pause, volume up/down, back/forward track, etc), as well as controlling the lighting of the keyboard. The keyboard also comes with a wrist-rest attachment which comes in handy (for my fellow gamers out there, you know the pain of your wrist after having it lay against the table for a while). The mouse is smooth, and I paired it with an 'xxl hyperx extended mouse pad', which also hosts my keyboard (it's on a glass desktop, so everything usually moves around). It's sexy, it feels nice in the hand, and is well suited for playing first person shooters as well as mobas. One quick thing to avoid a major, confusing headache ; I initially felt a grinding feeling when I moved the mouse a certain way, I assumed it was the risers on the bottom of the mouse (it was getting so, so irritating). After a week or so, I decided to give it a real good look, and it turns out there is a plastic film on each of the risers to protect them...the grinding movement was due to the edge of one of these coming off (which they're supposed to). This is my first 'gaming' mouse, so I hadn't a clue about them, so make sure you take them off, then this thing moves smooth as butter. This is a beautiful combination, especially for a college kid like myself who needs something very cost effective that will get the job done. I'm done with buying those cheap $10 keyboards and mouses in the store, this will be my go-to as long as they last at least a year without any problems. Thanks for the read!

I am happy with this set
I actually received this about 3 months ago and wanted to wait to do a review as off brands tend to worry me. After extended use, I am happy with this set. MOUSE- The mouse is fantastic for the price. The textured ridges on each side provide a good feel for extended gaming and the 2 extra buttons on the mouse are all I need for the games I play. The instant dpi adjustment on the mouse is nice also, even if not used often. Being able to disable or fix the color on the mouse to a single color would be nice, but the changing effect looks nice and doesn't bother me. KEYBOARD- The keyboard suits me, I like heavier keystrokes and it feels good. For the gaming I do I have no need for additional macro keys for keybinds, and as this is also our general use pc I didn't want a ridiculous looking keyboard. The 3 colors are easily changed, as is the intensity of the color and enabling/disabling of the "breathing" effect of the lights. The function to disable the windows key is nice, as I do use alt and ctrl for my games and I love not worrying about accidentally minimizing my game. The keyboard rests at a good height for comfortable long term sessions. The only complaint I have is that the paint on my A S D keys has begun to wear off rather quickly. I expected as much from a cheap set, but for the performance and comfort, I don't mind. TL:DR- Mouse is great, thought you cannot change or disable the LED effects. Keyboard feels good, colors and brightness are easily changed, comfortable for long sessions. Doesn't look too flashy, which is a plus for me. Paint is wearing off of ASD keys within a few months of moderate gaming use. Would buy again, though the shipping time (3 weeks for me) was a pain.

Comfortable And Cool
I've had some time to try out the TECKNET Kraken 3 LED Adjustable Backlit Gaming Keyboard and Mouse, and I am pretty impressed with the performance. First off, both pieces seem really well constructed and should last a long time. Both pieces have a modern, sleek appearance that will look good with any system. Now, to give you my assessment of each unit. I have been struggling for the last couple of years to find the perfect mouse. I've had some that have come close, but this one fits perfect in my hand. I have big hands and a lot of the other mice I have tried would hurt after long use, or the side buttons were too close and I would constantly hit them. Not with this mouse. You have four colors that rotate while you're using it to add a little flare to it, if you're into that thing. As for the keyboard, it has nice solid buttons with a good feel when you're typing. It has 3 background colors for the keys, blue, red, and pink. To me red sticks out the best, but all 3 colors look good on it. One thing that I had to get used to was certain buttons like the period button, comma, and quotations buttons, have the symbols side by side instead of one on top and the other on the bottom. This is not a deal breaker, but just know that if you are a typer like me that looks at the buttons while he is typing, it can take a little getting used to. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend you try this keyboard and mouse combo if you're in the market for one.

Keyboard layout isn't the best, and the mouse wheel failed me. Keyboard and mouse have a great feel. Great Support!
I have been using this keyboard and mouse for a couple months now. The keyboard has a nice feel to it and the key lighting is a nice touch. I am not a big fan of the \| key being adjacent to the enter key as opposed to above it. That's my fault though because you can clearly see that is the design when purchasing the product. The mouse feels great and has a good amount of buttons on it. The only problem I've experienced so far was about two weeks ago, my mouse wheel started to reverse scroll when wheeling up or down. For example I would scroll up a site and get an occasional down scroll. Even when reaching the top or bottom of a site, if I kept scrolling, it would just bounce up and down. I thought, uh oh, must be a mechanical failure on the mouse. However, I was able to go into the Control Panel (Windows 10) > Mouse > Wheel > I changed the Vertical Scrolling number of lines to a different number (2 in my case) > clicked ok > went to a scroll-able screen to test, it worked > Went back into those options and changed back to the default 3 lines > tested and it still works. So perhaps not a mechanical failure. I'll continue to monitor and update this post if the issue persists. UPDATE 4/19/17: Definitely something wrong with the mouse wheel. It is back to scrolling down briefly when wheeling up. Plus I tried it on another PC and it does the same thing. I will check warranty. If I can get another and it works for longer than a couple months then I will change the rating once again. UPDATE: 4/21/17: Reached out to Hippidion (US store), and they immediately said they will send a new mouse and they don't even require me to send the bad one back. That kind of support deserves 5 stars. Technology goes bad, it's understandable, but the support they are providing is fantastic.

Good Deal
I really like the keyboard. Very easy to use and looks great. Only comes with 3 colors which are Blue, Red and Pink. I was surprised and disappointed because the mouse has a plethora of colors it changes to on it's own. All though I think it was more that they chose pink instead of something else. I was really hoping for green. But other then that, it's really nice. The mouse is very pretty and cool looking. It works great as well but it's very uncomfortable to use, to the point that I don't use it at all, cramps my hand up. But for all I know it's comfortable to other people and I'm just strange xD One thing that bugs me on the key board is this Fn key on the right side where the windows key is doesn't function for anything other then changing the keyboard colors. The only reason this bugs me is because I use that windows key all the dang time. More inconvenient then anything. ( And more likely I just haven't figured out how to make it into a windows key lol). Overall, a good keyboard for a good price.

European Key Layout, if that bugs you here's the notice about it.
Solid keyboard and mouse for the price, nothing to write home about but they work. Keys feel a little more shallow than i care for (no satisfying click when you press them) but it gets the job done. Reminds me of a laptop keyboard. Mouse is light and feels cheap but does a good job of pointing and clicking at things, not sure what else you want from it. 5 button mouse is always a plus. I wouldn't buy either of these items on their own but for 20 bucks for the pair it's a good deal. I did not know the keyboard was a European layout. Not a big deal and I feel dumb for not noticing from the images but I wish it was more obvious in the description. Guess I'll make the headline that so someone that's bugged by that may notice before ordering. I like the colors, you can change them by holding the function key and pressing the number pad to cycle colors and brightness on the keyboard. You can also have it do a sort of fadey thing, it sucks, don't bother with it. No software to be found either in box or on the google. Not sure if the mouse has a similar feature, all I can figure out is DPI, the colors just kind of cycle on their own.So if you're dead set on an all blue (or whatever) desk you may want to keep looking. But then again if you're that type of person odds are you don't want a 20 dollar mouse and keyboard set. In summary, it's 20 bucks and adequate, and that's actually great.

(Update: received free replacement mouse from seller!) Solid keyboard, but the mouse lasted only two months
I decided to get this keyboard/mouse set as an affordable option when I built my first PC. For as long as they lasted, both were pretty decent products for the price. Unfortunately, the mouse effectively stopped working after only two months when left clicks stopped registering. I've since upgraded to a higher-end keyboard and mouse. I will say that the keyboard is quite nice for the price, as it did its job well and the lighting effects are pretty cool. I'm rating the set three stars simply because the keyboard alone might be worth the price (I am keeping it as a backup). Just don't expect both the keyboard and mouse to last for a long time. Update: After posting my review, the seller's customer service team reached out to me (I admittedly did not try to contact them before this) - the rep apologized and offered to send me a replacement mouse at no cost (not the exact same mouse included in the set, but a similar mouse linked here Tecknet Professional Ergonomic Optical Wired Computer Gaming Mouse, 2000DPI, 3 DPI Adjustment Levels, 6 Buttons - Black . So far, the replacement mouse is working out well for me. Given the proactive customer service action and the fact that the keyboard remains quite good for the price, I've adjusted my rating to five stars to reflect the solid value this set offers as an affordable option.

Keyboard is good. The scroll wheel failed on the mouse.
I purchased this wired keyboard/mouse combo a few months ago and it's all been fine except for the mouse scroll wheel being erratic. When you scroll up or down, it goes the opposite way half the time. It makes it unusable for regular web surfing and document handling. Update: I fixed the wheel scroll glitch. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures but it was fairly straightforward. If you open up the mouse, there you'll see the sensor for the scroll wheel. You need to pry back the metal tabs holding the sensor in place. You remove the little black sensor wheel and there are three very tiny copper contacts. I pried them up so they contact the sensor with more pressure and I'm back in business. We'll see how long this lasts. It looks like a shoddy design to me. This whole process took 10 minutes, including figuring out what I'll need to do. Another update. The seller emailed me after this review and offered to give me a refund or send me another model of mouse. I elected to get a mouse and it's been fine for a couple of weeks. The overall shape is the same but the wheel has a much more distinct click. I know that doesn't necessarily indicate better wheel reliability but I'm hoping this one is better made. Kudos to the seller for such great followup. In regards to my original mouse, the "fix" I outline above only worked for a month or so under light use.

Very good for this price.. Loved it.
Very surprising that no good reviews are found.. This review is after using this product for 3 weeks.. No problems at all, good dpi for the mouse. Good for budget gamers like me. Keyboard is not very brightly lit, its perfect. Three colors (red, pink, blue) on the keyboard is good. It come with a hand rest which detachable and it give an awesome look to the keyboard. Build quality is worth the money. Mouse has a great build quality. It's not very heavy. It's comfortable. Just go for it.. Best for budgets gamers...

Ottimo acquisto molto soddisfatto.
