It has a center handle so that I can easily pull it out to reach what I need. Slides smoothly. Adjustable spacing. I use mine for a variety of ceramic, wood, and metal trays/serving platters/pans. Review: Easy to Install & Works Great - This was well worth the price and, for aftermarket hardware, the price wasn't too bad. This was super easy to install. You will need a drill and I think it was a ⅛" drill bit (I used the next size down), & a Philips head screwdriver. Oh, and a bit of easy to remove tape to hold the template in place. It comes with a template and you simply fold the edge of the template over the lip of your cabinet and just make sure that the outline of the rails are where you want them positioned. There are little holes in the template that you place your drill bit on. I did actually use the next size down drill bit than what was recommended in the instructions. After the holes were drilled I plucked out 5he template and just install the right and the left rails. It's pretty foolproof. Once the rails are screwed down (2 screws per rail) then you fully extend the rail arms and place the wire rack on it. Then slide it back. Done! The rack is super easy to put together too. It has 4 arched dividers that just pop into place. 2 need to be used on the far right and far left of the rack, but then you can space the middle 2 dividers however you choose. I chose to space mine evenly. I got this rack for my 12" base cabinet with a 9" opening. It fits perfectly. The slides are on roller bearings. It holds all my cookie sheets, broilers pans, cooling racks, etc. and slides in and out with no problem. I feel pretty sure it would probably not work is I sat on it and tried to slide in and out. **Q: I have a 9" cabinet with a 6" opening. Will this work?** A: No, the unit itself is almost 13” wide. In a 9” wide cabinet with only a 6” wide opening, I would recommend individual fixed panels to provide separation. GL **Q: Are the mounting brackets adjustable?** A: YES!!! A paper template was provided so you can effortlessly align the pull out organizer within the cabinet as you please. You can cut the template down to align your organizer to the left or right-hand side if preferred. Screws were provided but you'll need a small drill and screwdriver to install. Super easy, however. The measurements provided include the rails. The slide out tray is approximately 7.25" wide. The wire "arms" are easily adjustable. This organizer is lightweight enough for me to use on the top shelf of my cabinet but still sturdy enough to properly house my baking sheets, etc. The gliding motion is smooth and overall construction is heavy duty and stable. I have bought several of these for my cabinets and love them.
