Not as thick as Rhoda Grid Paper
I have been using the same size Rhodia grid paper with the orange cover. Thought I would give the dot paper a try as I am practicing my brush lettering. When I use my brush pens on this paper I can see it on the reverse side so I am only using one side of this paper. The grid paper is thicker and I can practice on both sides.

Not for pointed pen calligraphy
While this a very smooth and great paper for brush tip pens, such as the tombow fusenosuke, it is horrible for pointed pen. When I tried my pointed pen it bled through the paper and around the edges of the lines I made. Nonetheless, it is really good for hard or soft tip small calligraphy pens.

Premium paper at a fair price.
No bleed through and a night feel when writing, very slick paper feel. Premium paper at a fair price.

Great Paper!
Great paper for beginner calligraphy, smooth enough it won’t fray your important pens

Beautiful paper
This is the best quality paper for the money I've found. Perfect for using a fountain pen, and the dots are subtle but can be seen enough to keep your lines straight. Will definately purchase again.

Perfect paper with fountain pens
The thickness and smoothness of this paper is just right for writing with various fountain pens. It’s now my favorite paper.

Love it!
Rhodia Dot Pad is the best. I use Mont Blanc rollerball. Mystery Black and the standard blue inks work well with this paper, but all other Mont Blanc inserts are skippy with this paper. So I stick with Mystery Black Mont Blanc rollerball. The Dot Pad is soo nice because you can use it to line up written text, you can use the Dots as drawing guide. I tried the lined, but that interferes with drawings, I tried the blank, but didn't like not having a guide for written text. Dot Pad is the best versatile option.

Quality Is No Longer Affordable
Finest quality & experience for writing & drawing, but no longer affordable for typical budget. $20 for few sheets of paper among other supplies is no longer in reach. It needs to come down to not a red cent more than $12 at the point of receiving the paper. Bless the founders of Rhodia !
