Great book came in excellent condition

The book is cute with great pictures. It’s nice because there aren’t too many words on each page to read so my son’s attention stays through the whole book. He usually wants me to reread it to him once we get to the end. It’s also good because it takes him through the emotions he might have when he goes to daycare but in a very simple way that it seems like he understands and can relate.

My little guy has a hard time when I have to head to work this book helped put it into age-appropriate context that I will return afterwards but he has fun till then

I struggle with this book. My 3 year old daughter has separation anxiety and I wanted to find a book that would help ease that. This wasn’t it. The penguin character and the drawings are adorable, but it didn’t send the positive message I was hoping for. Mom leaves Little Penguin with a babysitter and the babysitter entertains the penguin,but in every picture except the last one where he’s snacking, the little penguin is sad or in tears. I was hoping the penguin would illustrate a joyfulness in being with the babysitter, showing my daughter, “you’ll have so much fun with the babysitter that you won’t even know I’m gone” but my daughter even noted that the penguin looked sad and the point she picked up on most was the phrase “missing Mom.”

Cute book! One of my daughters favorite. Good quality board book that focuses on when mom leaves the house.

Really helps when mom is leaving the house for a few days! Buy it it works!!!
