I want to kit bash this into a steam punk airship. What are the general dimensions of the finished kit?

It is 3in. Wide by 12in.long and 12 in. Tall. ( not very big ) hope this helps

required assembly and painting, glue and paint are not included

What kind of paints work best?

I use Testors paints on all but the hull an there I use spray model paints.
