MoJack MJ-EZ Riding Lawn Mower Lift, 300-pound, black

When this arrived I said to myself uh oh this is gonna be trouble. The UPS guy was as big as my house and he had a load getting the box from his truck in the street and up to my front door and into my front hall. But, when I opened the box I and saw all the sturdy parts it was no surprise that the total weight was significant. As expected, the individual parts are solid and somewhat heavy but not unmanageable. Along with the parts came a booklet that contained a parts list, a hardware list, assembly instructions and operating instructions. All sections are well illustrated. This was quite a pleasant surprise because these days you usually don't get any documentation and are expected to go online and try to find useful information. Assembly was easy and quickly accomplished. Once assembled the MoJack was easy to maneuver.My zero turn is a 50" Toro and the MoJack wheel holders are easily adjustable which allowed me to set up a perfect fit for my Toro's front wheels. I needed to get access to some bolts under the mower so I could install the weight that is required for the bagger installation. Turning the handle on the MoJack was a simple task and all went well. If turning the handle is not preferable the handle can be removed and a power drill with an attachment can be used to raise and lower. There is a safety pin which slides into the tower to prevent accidental slippage of the wheel holders. The mower was easily lifted and when I was finished it was another easy process to fold up the MoJack for storage.This is the first time I have ever used a lawn mower lifter during my many years of mowing and using a variety of lawn mower types. The days of using jacks and wood blocks etc are over and MoJack has come to the rescue. I highly recommend this product for its usefulness, for the quality parts, the excellent documentation and its easy assembly and storage. I also recommend getting a pair of wheel chocks. They cost just a few bucks but are an added safety feature.

I purchased this lift so that I could do basic maintenance like changing blades and oil on my Craftsman 46" lawn tractor. I'm very pleased with it after my initial uses.The main thing I was concerned about was its capacity. It has a 300 lb. rating, and my tractor is 600 lbs. Generally speaking, 30-50% of a tractor's weight is in the front, so it was potentially right on the line. It holds it without issue.Another potential issue was how difficult it would be to crank it up and down, and I'm pleased to report that it's incredibly easy. You do have to keep an eye on the locking pin and disengage it when it hits one of the holes when you're raising and lowering it, but overall it's super easy in both directions.The 24" lift is also plenty to do the things I need to do. There was more than enough clearance to change the blades, and while I haven't changed the oil yet, there's definitely enough to do that as well. It also makes it very easy to clean out the caked-on grass that accumulates on the bottom of the deck.In terms of assembly, it couldn't be easier. The instructions are robust and clear. It's also easy to partially disassemble it (which is overstating it, you remove one bolt and disengage a locking pin) to store it flat. It's heavy, but not obnoxiously so.Anyway, I definitely recommend this lift. Make sure that you get the right capacity, but I think that most home-use lawn tractors can probably use the 300 lb. model that I got.

I like this MoJack as it was easy, simple assembly. It does a great job with our cub cadet lawn tractor. It also goes as high as anyone would need for working on their lawn tractor, provided their tractor is not a farm tractor. Then you have to purchase a larger model.What I personally disliked of this model, when I need to move it for whatever reason, the wheels are slightly to small and the frame drags the ground. I have to tilt it back to far for my liking.Other than that I found it to my liking.

After years of doing this task,along comes Mojack with a great idea and product.I highly recommend the Mojack EZ,it is a great investment that will provide years of dependable service.
