The book was in pretty good condition, though the previous owner already used a high-lighter pen in the book. So far, the high-lighting is not an issue since they didn't go crazy. I have really enjoyed the book and think that it is a great and thorough text to cover introductory oceanography. I would recommend this book for learning about the ocean and for beginners.

Excellent price for rental. Arrived really fast. I would be more excited about it but it is a text book for school!! :)
