Improved model now?
The media could not be loaded. Nov 30 2020 - Seems quality. Sticks well to glass. Doesn’t stick well to the curved back surface of an iMac computer. Holding the weight of a phone sized battery powered light ok. Ball joint seems very strong and good. Perhaps improved since earlier models? See my attached video.Dec 18th update. Still holding firm to glass. Has not budged since Nov 30th. Regularly holds 174grams of weight which is attached and removed frequently.Feb 16th update. I’m impressed. Hasn’t budged since Nov. Fully recommend.

The little ball joint is too small for the clip to be tightened around it.
Like I said, the ball is too small to the point where the clip cannot be tightened enough around it to prevent the camera from moving around or simply flopping off.I had to wrap the ball in rubber tape to make it larger. Also, I have a larger camera which is not ideal for this mount.I have to mount the camera upside down in order for it not to hit the windscreen. The second bolt on piece really needs to be longer for the mount to accept larger cameras.Live and learn, I suppose.

Good product
Has never came off accidentally since I installed on my windshield a month ago. Easy to adjust. I would have given 5 stars if the materials were better. Seems made of cheap plastic that would become brittle and would not last very long. Time will tell. For the price, it's a good product.

Unfortunately it fell off the glass window... twice
I was trying to use the EXSHOW Suction Cup Camera Mount for a security camera that was to be placed high up, on the inside of an office window.. This mount was listed as "heavy duty", so I thought it would provide a more secure connection than a cheaper mount might. Everything seemed to go well at first, as the camera screwed into the threaded head just fine and the suction cup held the mount and camera securely to the inside surface of the window. Unfortunately it didn't last too long... about 1 hour later the suction mount let go of the glass and the camera came crashing down to the floor. I thought that maybe I hadn't cleaned the glass sufficiently the first time, so I gave it another thorough cleaning and tried it again, but it fell off a second time. This mount itself seems robust and maybe suitable for holding a GoPro just fine, but after seeing my security camera in pieces on the floor I'm not sure that I would trust it to hold any of my more expensive cameras.

Got it for my GoPro
I got it for my GoPro. This one is cheaper than the GoPro brand, but honestly, it does the job. I've used in windows and even outside of my car to shoot a video while driving. The suction cup is really amazing! The best part, in my opinion, is that the mount works on other things! You can put your DSLR there if you wanted to (that can get risky, but it's possible)
