Chemistry by OpenStax (Official Print Version, hardcover, full color)

I am a chem major and have been using this free version for a while so I decided to get the physical one.I have purchased 4 others ones for reference as well. This is the one I use the most.I like the examples that is shows with steps. Highly recommend.

Very useful for my Chemistry 101 class even though a textbook wasn't required. I found I still had questions despite the lectures and material provided in class. I barely scratched the surface of what this entire book contains, so it would surely be useful in more advanced Chem classes as well.

I havent found any information in the book that goes against what I'm learning in class but, there are several calculations wrong. The question asked for 3.71 (of whatever), and in the example, it was written as 3.17. The calcukation and answer shown was correct for 3.71, not 3.17. Theres several others I've encountered. Overall, great book. I like having a physical book over reading from a screen. I would buy from the company again with the knowledge that some math problems might need rebooking at

This text is seems to a great "fit" for hs chemistry students preparing for the rigors college/university chemistry. At the university level I can see this textbook being used by "non-science major" students taking chemistry.

Simple, cost-efficient book. Well worth the price for the amount of content in this book.
