One of my cats has a fancy for wires and loves to chew them. This has been a life saver not only for my wires but also stopping my cat from electrocuting himself. It’s really easy to use and it has stopped him biting the wires. It’s very well made, keeps my wires neat and tidy and looks very neat and isn’t overly bulky, well worth the price.

The cable protector came within two days. I was not sure if this was going to be suitable or not took a chance on it all the others looked more like cable tidy's for more than one cable. What I wanted was thin protector for a Roberts DAB Radio the mains lead those awful thin cable which get damaged easy. Why can't they use normal electrical mains lead ?. So product arrived they got it through my letter box. And the first end I tried to open did not open so went to the other end and managed to get it open then at the start was hard to get my cable into it. the cable protector is only suitable for one thin wire like this. once I had started it got easier. And using my thumb to force open the cable and run my thumb down the cable protector I was able to get the cable inside and the cable protector seals around it so it is solid seal. scissors need to cut when you reach the end and used some electrical tape to seal both ends. and there is plenty left for another job.

If you have lost a small fortune replacing electrical goods and multiple leads due to not being able to stop cats from biting through wires, this is the casing you need! It is thick and robust - saved another Dyson hairdryer biting the dust! They haven't managed to bite through this cable casing yet and it snaps on tightly, only leaving a bit of a gap at the top sometimes where it can slide. Really good product

Bought on the basis of reviews that this cable wrap will prevent puppies chewing electric wires in a suicidal fashion. It's a mesh wrap, so puppy teeth should be able to penetrate it-whether it will prevent chewing through to the wiring, I have yet to find out. Certainly, puppy stole a bit whilst I was wrapping cables and left indentations in the bit she chewed, but didn't bite through it. If the puppy manages to fry herself, I'll update this review. This size is good for two strand wire and is too small for three strand. I have used solid ducting for larger cables-which is effective. Wrapping was a bit of an effort with arthritic fingers but got there. Quite expensive for what it is-a stiff, preformed, plastic mesh.

I bought this to protect all my electrical cables from my pet rats (I have 7 big, boisterous boys!) who LOVE plastic and rubber; I wasn't expecting it to be much good but I have been pleasantly surprised! At best I hoped the mesh would provide an additional layer for the boys to chew through before reaching the juicy cables inside but it appears to have put them off chewing completely. They've had an experimental nibble here and there and obviously decided it's not worth their while and all my cables are safe and sound. The mesh is easy to fit and cut and and it has given me total peace of mind. If it can stand up to rats then I'm pretty confident it will stand up to all other pets.

a very good product for safeguarding wire against attack by nosey puppy I recently took on the training of a specialist puppy who will if he passes all his training be a benefit to the public . Due to the overall cost I would not want the pup to electrocute himself by chewing the cable to an electric appliance. I will need some more cable guarde as he gets older . I am very impressed with this product

The cable for our new garden lights was flimsy so I've wrapped it in this sleeve. It was easy to cut to size it is split to allow the cable to go in fairly easily. Not sure how much protection it will actually give, but it went on easy and seems good so far.

I managed to install this cover onto a couple of cables on a trickle charger. Surprisingly it stayed in place as I struggled with the thicker of cables and mangled it a bit. Unfortunately, at the charger end of the cable everything is a sealed unit, so it wasn't possible to make a neat end to the cover the same as managed to do on the plug end. I taped the loose ends down with standard insulation tape and sprayed the tape with a rodent repellent. So far no rodent damage to the cables.

Works just as intended, note that you cant add multiple cords in it unless they are thin.
