Rockville RVP12W8 1200w 12" Pro Subwoofers 8 Ohm Raw Sub Woofers 40 Oz Magnets

I was extremely excited for these woofers to come in, as I've never really been someone to cheap out when it comes to audio. I was extremely dissatisfied when the package arrived with both woofers (packaged OK individually) banging around in a box that was easily twice as big as it needed to be. There were holes in the main box holding the two smaller woofers that were each in their own box. I was worried the woofers were going to be ruined....however, the woofers were thankfully not damaged.Packaging aside, wow these sound amazing with minimal power. I had to replace some woofers in an old mid century modern record player cabinet and took a chance on these cheap guys. I wasn't expecting the level of bass/quality that came out of these bad boys with only about 40 watts going to them. They actually shake the cabinet pretty well, and shake the floor! I'm excited and nervous to see what they sound like when I put more power to them.The build quality of the subs are actually way higher than what I was expecting for their price. They certainly appear to look like they'll last a long time. Great subs for a small price!!

Sounds pretty good. Ran them for about 4 hrs straight with 3 mics and and a mp3 player. So far so good!

I purchased these for a budget home theater project. First off I must say a few things. For the money, these are some fantastic subwoofers. I don’t have a ton of experience with many different brands of audio equipment, but these are fantastic for my taste. They’re loud and have great sound quality, along with a simple aesthetic. Now, my only complaint is that they’re not actually 8 ohms. When I received my subs, I wired them down to “4 ohms” to my amp, which is rated 4 ohm stable. However, when I tried powering it up, the amp went into protect. I was very confused at first, but I suspected it might be an impedance issue. Sure enough, my ohm meter said they were actually about 7.4ish ohms, and when wired down were around 3.7 ohms. I wired them up instead, around 15 ohms, which gets the job done nicely, but it would’ve been nice if they were rated accurately. Overall a great product.

Honestly,I was highly impressed with pretty much EVERYTHING,from the speed of delivery,quality of the product(s),..as well as the integrity,and sound quality,AND,..believe it or not,the price I paid,.. for the TWO,12 INCH SUBWOOFERS,..WITH THE 40 oz. magnets,is insanely reasonable..Ill def. be ordering a pair of SIMILAR 15 inch woofers ,..VERY SOON...AS ,..ONE IF MY HOBBIES,..IS COLLECTING,REFURBISHING OLDER STEREO SYSTEMS,PREFERABLY FROM THE EARLY,..TO LATER 70'S,...AND THERES USUALLY AN ISSUE IF SOMEKIND,WITH THE 35 TO 40 YEAR OLD speakers,since they were almost ALL paper cones back then,..and fi dung quality subs,of such particular girth,and strength,thatll stand up to theJuice I run through them,.. is a feat in itself...So. Sound quality from what I received was garbage. Will not handle as said wattage without distorting. Tried returning and for a month given run around. Seems like good deal but trust not worth it. Needed 8 ohm high wattage and got garbage. Do not waste time or money being you cannot return product. Whoever's giving positive feedback has bad hearing and or aweful taste n quality. Gave them a try n now stuck with them

One of the reviews I read complained of poor packaging. My shipment arrived, so well packed that the FexEx, UPS or USPS delivery person was incapable of damaging it.Their on-line video for installation was complete and articulate. Someone with no knowledge of installing a speaker will have no problems follows the clear instructions.Once installed, I test them raw (unequalized) with a variety of music; everything from hard rock/metal, to concert pianists. In a word, they were INCREDIBLE!Overboosting the bottom end by over-driving them, I couldn't overload them.Be prepared though, you're going to hear sounds - and instruments - in music you didn't know was there. Best sound purchase I've made in decades....

Listen these don't come with any specs or info, but.. thebguys and girls that work at Rockville Audio know their stuff and are fantastic at taking the time to understand what it is you want to know and then findi g the answer. Great company and great products at an unbeatable price. Im just blown away that this place exists.

Bought these because of my vehicle speakers. Vehicle speakers were good but these home stereo speakers aren’t very good.
