Tool was bent
Tool was bent or warped out of the box. Slightly big to grab on to the center lock of the Shimano hub lock. I'll see if I can bend it straight and tighten it to make it work. If not, I'll keep searching.

for just a weekend mechanic this is a gently priced for the wrench and the cap remover in one as most seemed to sell separately.

Broke as soon as I turned it
I wasn’t expecting much with it being plastic but it didn’t even think about actually loosening the nut. Just felt like butter and sheared off.

No need to remove the crank arm to tighten the bottom bracket nut. Price is excellent.
