These molasses have great flavor, and blackstrap has proven health benefits.

I had issues with hemorrhoids and tried everything and nothing worked until I read an article about using black strap molasses. I started with a table spoon at night and one in the morning. Crazy thing is I didn’t want to jinx my self but in the morning it was gone(crazy less than 24 hours). I started to take a teaspoon every night for a week after that once a week and haven’t taken since. I was dealing with hemorrhoids for over 6 months. My doctors wanted me to get an operation to remove them. I am very happy this worked. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

This Blackstrap’s Molasses is a tempting ingredient to have around, even price wise, but its uses must be clear as it’s not one of those ingredients that can be widely used. I started with pecan cookies, and must say they added quite an asset to the final product. Then, I realized that short of more cookies this unusual ingredient must be understood in the ways to use it. Thick, dark, and after tasting it quite appealing, but certainly was not planning in consuming this heavy syrupy unique purchase in regular teaspoons. Still, credit where credit might be due, 4.1 Stars.

I had no idea the Blackstrap Molasses has become a niche item. Or maybe its just niche here in Nashville. Regardless, I searched the local stores and couldn't find them locally. I was worried about ordering these online because our local UPS drivers are significantly not-too-careful with our packages. I just imagined what it would be like to open a box with multiple items covered with molasses ... but there was no need to worry. The jar is plastic and very capable of surviving rough handling. I've had quite a few positive comments on the bread I made with Blackstrap Molasses, so the quality is apparently good. Not sure how to evaluate them otherwise.

Different websites claim that blackstrap molasses prevents or cures cancer, shrinks tumors, protects your heart and bones, cures anemia, gives you energy, relieves arthritis pain, helps you lose weight, cures skin conditions, and makes your gray hair go away--among other things. After trying it, I can say that this molasses does eliminate a lot of joint pain. But powdered gelatin actually works better and takes away more pain. I mix the molasses in a cup of hot water with a little bit of milk. It tastes sweet, but not as sweet as regular molasses. This particular molasses is very watery and thin. It tastes good in hot water but it tastes terrible in coffee. This is in a plastic bottle, and all plastic bottles leach unhealthy chemicals. The bottom of the bottle says plastic recycling symbol 1 PETE (polyethylene terephthalate). The molasses would be better stored in a glass bottle because glass bottles don't leach chemicals. This molasses is high in iron. I never take more than one tablespoon a day because too much iron is bad for you. Just to compare, one tablespoon of this blackstrap molasses is 50 calories, sodium 25mg, Sugars 9g, potassium 320mg, calcium 20%, and iron 25%. A tablespoon of regular molasses from the grocery store is 60 calories, sodium 5mg, Sugars 15g, calcium 4%, and iron 8%.

As a pre-diabetic, I was sceptical about ordering this product. It contains sugar, and that made me a little uneasy. After educating myself, the decision was made - go for it. So, I finished the first container and am ordering the second one. I take a teaspoonful of molasses once a day with the biggest meal of the day. It does not affect my blood glucose at all this way. It really boosts my energy throughout the day, and my mind is clear. In general, I feel great after taking it. I stopped taking single supplements. However, I have one request to whoever is distributing this product. Please consider substituting the current plastic container with a glass jar.

Just the right taste not to sweet. Blackstrap molasses is supposed to be healthier than other molasses. I mix 2 teaspoons with my milk. End up buying the gallon jug too.

Read the back of it, and it says in the Description it’s been known to cause cancer. I threw mine in the garbage. I’m shocked.
