Eschenbach Optik FL-41 SolarComfort Filter Glasses - Light Rose
P**R
The frame style not appealing. Used item. Not sure if fully FL-41 compliant.
Arrived last night. Had them on last night and this morning......PROS:-The frame style is fairly comfortable, and the width is generous and snug.-The Light Rose Tint assists filtering for my Light-Sensitive eyes.-These also appear helpful when computer and cellphone use, and bright indoor lighting.-They provide a very mellowing and softening of effect, especially the intense, harsh, bright blue flourescent and LED ceiling lights in the home.-The Light Pink Tint lends itself to a degree of greater clarity. However, the tint does modify colors of things, for obvious reasons.-The are definitely good for indoor use, being 50% light reduction. It seems less when actually wearing them so it's not like walking around in the dark, or wearing outdoor sunglasses. However, be sure to have light(s) on as they definitely block almost all lighting when in the dark.CONS:-The frame style is not appealing for me as they appear very effeminate.-They are not glare resistant,-Eschenbach, and the accompanying leaflet in the package, do not provide the extent of emission blocking. I read somewhere that they are only up to 400nm emission. Though they are soothing the harsh indoor light, I understand the most harmful emissions are in the range of 400 to 470 nm, and possibly higher. Not sure that the soothing comfort is helping with the intent of blocking those more harmful emissions.NOTE: These came in a damaged package, with the box torn and the plastic bag containing the glasses and pouch already open. This product appears to have been a returned item that has been used previously. The glasses had smudges on the lens, and slight defects in tint coating at the periphery. I would have anticipated this to be delivered as "New" from Amazon. This is frustrating as several other Amazon purchased products supposed to arrive "New" were actually used, and a bit defective. This is frustrating!2nd Review. After wearing these late last night, and this morning, these are noticeable defects:-The Right Lens looking out (image 3) does not have as secure a tab by the outer insert hole. This makes it very challenging to clean the glasses without the lens falling out. Also, next to the nose tab it is oddly solid lens. like full coating, then super sharp next to it. It's a very small area, but is noticeable.-The Left Lens looking out (image 4) has the coating missing at the left side. This is a bit irritating.I think I understand why someone may have sent these back, if this is the case. Regardless, they do a fairly good job for light sensitivity it seems. Don't think I can use them with computer screen though.

These Break Within a Month
The lenses in these glasses do help with glare and eye sensitivity but the whole lense fell out within a month and I missed the return period by 2 days.

Too large
Bought the small size to wear to church but they are large and look stupid.
