Sounds great, arrived unplayable…
Plays like a dream, superb customisable tones before reaching any pedal, looks sick, very balanced and lightweight. The numerous reviews saying that Cort beats Ibanez etc are true. The baseline tone is perhaps a little more zingy than I expected, but this is good, reminds me slightly of Wal. However, arrived unplayable and I spent a lot of time to adjust it and even had to replace the factory neck nut. I was considering returning but I was afraid of similar issues with other ones. Out of the box had so much forward bow that looked like an arching bow. Strings and intonation of course totally off. Adjusting trussrod and bridge led to a ridiculous back buzz around the 3rd fret when playing the 5th. The nut was filed too low and had to buy a replacement (£4 for a 38mm graphite one) and file it to the right height as it was by at least 1/10mm lower than it should. Unacceptable for a bass 3x the price of my Glarry which arrived ready to play. Conclusion, plays great, but may need work when it arrives.
