Fantastic blanket. I love that the cover is washable, it keeps my washing machine safe from a heavy blanket while allowing me to continuously have a clean blanket. Size was great for one person, weight was fantastic for me, and I thought the price was fair given the benefit I feel in getting. I relax instantly when this is on top of me. Overall, I a great blanket!

This blanket is a game changer. I’ve always slept poorly until now. I can’t wait to go to sleep. This blanket provides the perfect napping experience for me as well. That has never happened. What can I say, I love my woobie. This blanket is very heavy. I get a little work out just making the bed. My husband doesn’t like covers on, so I doubled it up on my side of the bed and do not toss and turn anymore. Such amazing sleep quality. To me it feels like the x-ray apron they lay on you at the dentist office, only better. It is soft and cuddly and soothing. There hasn’t been a day I haven’t said out loud how much I love my bankie. I will admit I was tempted to return it, but I am so glad I didn’t. This is the best investment I’ve made this year. There are other reviews that say this more eloquently, but this is one item I can no longer live without.

My first weighted blanket is a WINNER! This is a long, single size. 15lbs total weight. Outer cover is removable and washable with a zipper. Unzip, roll inner part up to remove. You should get an individual one for it to work well. Color was gray but looks dark green. Very soft and easy to get used to! Love it!

This is a high quality, 4.5 star product. However, I regret going for the heavier version. I had assumed, based on recommendations on blanket weight vs body weight, that this was for the smaller single-size. Being twice as large, I opted for the extra heavy for the same effect as a smaller blanket. This is a very good weighted blanket. But it is so heavy (especially with the extra length folded over on top), that it can almost make you panic. But only after giving you a full body HIT training workout when trying to make your bed. (Be sure the bed is made before getting a shower, or you might want another after!). Everything becomes easy after a week though. And it is a welcome comfort, although having a weighted blanket half this weight (15-18lb instead if 30lb?) would probably be more comfortable. This makes turning over in your sleep almost impossible. So, You end up waking up a lot of you want to move. Note: It does sleep warmer than a sheet alone, but nowhere near as hot as you would expect. Glass beads don't insulate very well. Unless you place a comforter overtop, with a sheet underneath. Then it becomes unbearably warm due to the trapped layer in between. This is probably great in the winter with cooler overnight thermostat settings. Whatever temp you prefer, it will probably need to be lowered 2-5 degrees with this. Especially in summer. Overall, a good product. But I suggest going for a mid-weight, not the heaviest or lightest version. You want a density which has the benefits of a heavy comforter, but you also have to pick it up off the floor, or roll over at night without assistance sometimes.

Use this as my comforter for my full bed. Fits perfectly. Weight is great for helping clam my tossing and turning. The sleeve zips to the weighted blanket so the whole piece feels like a solid unit unlike other weighted blankets that may just tie to its cover. Can get warm while sleeping, recommend keeping the room cool

I've wanted to try a Gravity Blanket (the original, not the knock offs) for quite some time because I have trouble sleeping at night for many reasons including anxiety and worry caused by a busy mind that is difficult to shut off at night! In October 2018, I finally purchased a 20-pound Galaxy Blue Gravity Blanket (which comes with a washable removable cover)! The size is 48" x 72" which is the size of a larger throw blanket rather than a King or Queen size I was used to. The photo I provided here is just a section of the blanket to show what it looks like up close (not the greatest picture though). I thought it might be too hot because of the weight of it but it isn't any warmer than a thick comforter. The warmth helps provide coziness which provides a feeling of security (in my experience). The first few days of using my Gravity Blanket I wasn't sure I liked it. Having 20-pounds of weight evenly distributed over you all night long was an odd sensation at first. Then on Day 7, I put the blanket on and it enveloped me and provided a good night's sleep. I used to only sleep for 2 hours at a time, wake up and then couldn't get back to sleep. Now I sleep for 4-5 hours or more at a time. I look forward to going to bed at night because my Gravity Blanket calls my name! I am used to the weight of it now as it provides comfort and a feeling of security, and it is very soft. Since the Gravity Blanket is now my new Best Friend, I don't go to sleep without it!

It gets too hot for me but my wife loves it!

For me, getting this was a good idea, but in practice, it was not what I expected. (I got the idea from how comfortable I felt when under the lead protective shield at my dentist's office when they take x-rays. It just felt good and comforting for some reason.) Anyway, the gravity blanket's heaviness was good and kept me cozy, but two things were a problem for me: (1) the fabric was really hot and after about an hour, I would wake up because I was too warm and (2) it was hard to turn over because it was heavy (I would wake up to lift the blanket so that I could turn then let the blanket back down then try to go back to sleep). I'm returning it because I didn't get any real sleet using it.

This really helps me sleep.

I’ve been sleeping under this 230x230 and 15kg blanket for a few weeks now, and it’s Great! I wouldn’t give it away and it’s worth the steep price. I sleep through the nights and wake up more rested. Nothing is 100% but previously I had difficulties in falling asleep. Negative: It is too warm for the summer season though, and I have to figure out a easier trick on how to do the washing.
