Sally Hansen Insta-Dri®, Clearly Quick, Quick Dry, Long Lasting, Streak-Free Shine, Clear Nail Polish

I have no complaints about this nail polish! It dries quickly, is easy to put on, and is a pretty good color. The only thing I will say is that it is a little bit lighter than I was expecting. I would recommend doing two coats. It stays on for about 5 to 7 days without needing a retouch if you are not too hard on your nails. I definitely would recommend it, it dries quickly and was easy to put on without streaks.

I am a huge fan of Sally Hansen nail polish, as I truly believe it has greatly increased the hardness of my fingernails. My favorite Hansen line is the Insta Dri. True to its name, it dries quickly. This line also features a wide brush, which allows me to complete one fingernail coat in just a couple of strokes. My preferred base coat is a pale, pearlized or opaque color, usually Triple Thread or Copper Crush. The second coat is often something with sparkles in the mix, like Quartz Queen or Illusion. Rarely do I bother with a third coat. Although I do not "baby" my nails in any manner, a 2-3 coat manicure usually lasts nearly a week before showing wear and tear. Sally Hansen polishes are easily found, available in a wide assortment of colors and textures, and are often much less expensive than other brands. Honestly, what's not to love?

This product truly does what it says! After applying your 1 to 2 coats of nail polish wait a couple minutes and apply Insta-Dri. It drys polish fast and also gives it a shine like a clear top coat shine. You only have to use 1 coat of the Insta-Dri. This product is a life saver and a time saver when doing your own nails! Nails dry quick!

Love this color combination. Black polish with silver glitter. The application went on very smooth. The consistency was just right. Not too runny and not too thick. I applied 2 applications when polishing and the second coat was streak free. They did dry pretty quickly, and the finished product looked great. I gave 4 stars because they were chipping by the second day. I didn't expect that from this brand. Kinda bummed.

I’ve tried dozens of quick-dry top coats, but Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Clearly Quick genuinely stands out. It dries in less than a minute — by the time I finish my second hand, the first one is already touch-dry. Perfect for busy days when I can’t sit still waiting for polish to set. What I really love is the shine and durability. The finish looks like a salon-quality gel — smooth, glossy, and completely streak-free. My manicure usually lasts 5–7 days without chips, which is impressive for a clear top coat. It also helps strengthen the polish underneath and makes colors look a bit more vibrant. The brush spreads evenly with just one swipe, and the formula isn’t too thick or runny. There’s a faint scent (as expected with nail polish), but it fades quickly. I’ve even used it on bare nails for a natural glossy look — it makes them look instantly healthier. This top coat was a game changer because it really does almost completely dry in just a couple of minutes, significantly cutting down the time of not being able to touch anything after painting your nails. I rated it 4 stars though instead of 5 because I was surprised at how fast the product depleted and even more surprised that it got gummy and unusable in less than a year. So unless I had a fluke bottle the first time I purchased it (this is my second time purchasing it), then perhaps it's quick to dry on your nails and quick to dry in the bottle too. Because of that it is probably perfect for someone who regularly paints their nails but might not be the right choice if you only do it once or twice a year.

I am writing about the white color option. I am no polish connoisseur, I only occasionally paint my nails. I got this for DIY French manicures. But even as a nail amateur, I noticed a big difference in quality between this Sally Hansen quick dry polish and my friend’s more expensive white polish (which I tried/used on one hand before picking this one up; apologies I can’t recall the brand). Sure, this one dried quickly, but had a more tacky v. smooth look, even when painted on carefully diligently in the strokes and also didn’t last as long as the nicer one (i.e., it looks cheap). So ultimately you definitely get what you pay for; in my opinion, the quick dry feature doesn’t justify the lower-quality/longevity of the final result, at least for the white color polish.

Whether to use on bare nails or add a smoothing glam shine on coloured nails this is my go to product. It does pickup colour from pre painted (and dry) nails so the liquid gains a hue to it BUT impossible to see even when used by self on bare nails. Dries soooo quickly too
