When my old bedroom incandescent burned out, I considered going to my local grocery store and purchasing a standard replacement white bulb.But then, I thought, “why go with one boring color?” And that question led me to this product.I’ll admit, I was dubious at first. It seemed too good to be true. For less than $20, I could get a remote-controlled light with more than a dozen unique hues and four light modes? “Impossible!” I thought.But thus far (and it’s only been about a week), this lightbulb has surprised me. It’s “normal” setting light isn’t as bright white as I’d hoped, but apart from that, it’s exceeded my expectations.If you’re looking for an easy-to-install, easy-to-operate mood light that doubles as a standard bulb, you just can’t go wrong with this beauty of a bulb.In short, 4.5/5 would recommend.

Great product for the price! Really fun, pretty colors. Remote works well and comes with the battery loaded. Read other reviews about the remote not working well, but I had no issues. The lights are not super bright, but also not dim- soft nice glow good for a smaller/medium room or a section of a larger room.

Love it works great I like how you can change the speed of the color changing it has so many different colors I do kinda wish it was brighter although it is still pretty bright it lights up my whole room and it’s a great product definitely recommended

We bought this for my sons room, he’s 2.5 months old now. The light isn’t super bright, but he enjoys the fade cycle. However, the buttons on the remote don’t always work. Sometimes you have to press them 3-4 times, sometimes you’ll hit the white light button and it’ll change to the fade setting. Also the switch on the cord of the light has to be on for the remote to work.

Easy to install. Remote functionality is highly commendable. Only reason I'm giving this 4Stars is cos the last two buttons on the remote, namely: Fade (which I love the most) & Smooth light options didn't work with dim settings, while flash & strobe buttons work with the dim settings perfectly.Fade blends the color transitions very smoothly which gives the room a perfect ambience but since it goes full brightness the moment you switch to it and cannot be dimmed, this makes it somewhat counterintuitive because the high brightness gets very uneasy on the eyes especially when you just need the lighting to be really dim to sleep.I will be keeping this however (I actually bought two, so I might just be returning the 2nd one), hopefully this issue will be corrected in their subsequent productions.I' tried every options available on the remote just to see if I can get to dim the fade option but nothing worked, it only works at full brightness and the only reason I sought out to buy this type of bulb is just so I can dim lights at night, I' expected all the light options to support dim nevertheless.

Love all the colors to choose from! While the white is standard for working on the laptop, puzzles, coloring, etc., the colors are perfect for watching a movie or enjoying a netflix binging event! The remote is easy for my 6 year old to use and she loves dimming and brightening to fit her moods.The strobe option can suck it though. My old eyes and brain can't take that! LOL! That button might get accidentally broke. :)

The media could not be loaded. Put a bulb in the 60’s hanging spaghetti lamp in my pinball game room and it turned out fantastic! The white light does not get bright enough for general room illumination, but the room is intended to be dark while playing anyway. Remote works fine and controls all my other LED lighting also.

This dimmable light bulb is perfect! I really like the remote too. I use this light bulb in my bedroom for comfort and relaxation. The colors are many and very pretty and bright. Very happy with the price and this product. If decide to buy another, this will be the one.

Its a very nifty light. A room filling RGB LED bulb is such a cool idea.Notes to consider.1) The remote control works well but has a very short range. You gotta be under the light for it to work.2) The closset to white light you'll get is light blue.3) Its pretty dim at its brightest.Tbh none of thease are huge issues. Its a colour changing LED and it does this very well. For ten bucks I think its worth it.P.S The review asked me for "Thickness" and I don't know what that means. So I assume its ... average thick? What is a thick light?

Bought this to go with a hanging light I also purchased from Amazon. I really wanted a colour changing LED because my son is fascinated by them. this one is good quality for the price (I honestly looked for the cheapest one that didn't have terrible reviews). I have been using it every day for about a week and I am very pleased! A wide variety of colour options, and the plain white looks warm enough inside my light fixture to not be a stark white. I do wish it was a little brighter, but this was true to description. I would buy again.

I now have 3 of these around the apartment and fortunately, the remote that comes with each one works on all of them so long as you point it at the bulb you want to affect.THis means you can plant remotes all over and you can turn on and off or change the colour of all your bulbs with one remote and not have it affect the others since you have to point it right at the bulb.I haven't worked out the minimum angle yet, so maybe they have to be X degrees apart, but for practical use, one lamp to my right and another behind, i have to move my arm to affect each bulb. Which is great as it would be deeply frustrating if each time you turned one on, they all went on.These are a terrific little life enhancing device that lets you turn off the light without getting out of bed, and change colour for dark adaptation or whatever reason.2 things to make it better:It could be brighter, and it could have a button for a 30 minute timer to turn off automatically. That would be ideal for a night time reading lamp.

This was so simplePut the light bulb in.Use the remote to turn on my lamp now. Much easier than having to pull the chain on my lamp like I used to have to doThe remote is colorful. You chose the color. It keeps it on that colorIf you want a different color pick it.then it goes to that color.If you want it to do (the "smooth" function) press smooth. And the colors all blend in one after another slowly. VERY PEACEFULTHEN if you pick ("fade" function) t changes colors a bit faster."WHICH I PREFER" as it's a little more exciting !!Then there is the ...."Strobe" & "flash" effects buttons..They are both great at eliminating colors. The flash is a steady switch of light colors. Pausing for a second before switching to the next color but still steady and quick.MY FAVORITE of the side buttons is the STROBE, just like a disco. I love it. Perks up your mood.. puts you in another wonderful atmosphere all together..Ps. My 1 & a half year old Grandson. & my 6 year old Grandson both were dancing to the beat with grandma as they loved the colour effects. From strobe. Matter or fact the youngest coukdnt get enough of it. LolHighly recommend this productOh & the white light effect can be bright med or dimmed low.. by using the too left hand buttons that indicate day and night.Lastly. I couldnt figure out at first why I couldnt turn the light on or offBut its because you have to point it level to the lightbulb itself arms out and up a bit.Awesome by 99.9%I'm going to buy more for other rooms

These bulbs are neat - lots of colours and brightness without an expensive dimmer switch. It is not a smart bulb - not compatible with Alexa or Google Home. Still very functional.
