Vacuum quart storage bags
Zipper vacuum freezer bags are great. I have a ziplock pump and was having a hard time finding bags. These are perfect for chops, hamburger, leftovers or onions. Vacuum seal, they stack well and stay sucked-down in the freezer. These bags are for small quantities, 2 pork chops, a pound of hamburger, etc... The trick is not to get food in the "vacuum circle" or they won't work. The circle is were the magic happens.

I ordered these from Amazon because the price was better and they are difficult to find in stores
I ordered these from Amazon because the price was better and they are difficult to find in stores. I've use Ziploc vacuum bags for years and was disappointed when they stopped making them. I'm so glad I found FoodSaver vacuum bags. I can still use my Ziploc vacuum pump and the bags are much nicer...thicker and with a good double press zip.

Excellent, saves me money and space
I have been using this system for a few years. These are the bags for the handheld vacuum. It's fantastic especially for a small kitchen and single person. I freeze everything in these bags, suck out the air and freeze my extras. Everything lasts so much longer without ever any freezer burns, no ice in the bags. One thing you have to be careful about is make sure that the suction hole is covered with a clear ring. Else bag will leak air in and food starts crystalizing/freezerburn. The bags are reusable after washing them carefully. The reused ones I use for short term freezer or refrigerator storage only. Bags come in two sizes.

These are not going to hold suction. My ratio was 1 out of 8 used, before I tossed them.
Had several boxes of these that I used with the hand suction tool, used the Ziploc ones for freezer use but the box said these were for the refrigerator so I used them for that and counter/dry air tight storage. Finally ran out of these, so I ordered them.Have used 8 and only one has held its suction. The one with a bit of dill in the crisper. Tossed them. $20.00 lesson for me, buy them from FoodSaver directly. I did after throwing these away and not one fail out of 4 so far.

Requires A Hand-held Device or Attachment to use these.
I wasn't aware that I needed a hand-held accessory to my Food Saver to use these. The written description did not include this info and I guess I wasn't thorough in reading the description on the image of the package. This info should be in the description. That being said I got the accessory attachment for my food saver and they work quite well. Certainly not as good as the full-on sealing bags; but I use them for things that I open often like cheese and lunchmeats.

Over half I got wont keep a seal
Over half are wasted! Over half of the pack wouldnt keep a seal and a handful wont work with the pump. Very disapointed. And they won't replace them unless I send all of them back. I'm using some of them! In the picture I used the vaccume on all of them but the bottom middle and bottom left show how they get air back in the bag somehow within a few min. Also top middle isn't as tight as rite when I did it.

Bags,Jars and other things
Every quart and pint size bags I used did not hold vacuum, I have to re-vacuum them every day. I've used FoodSaver for many years with little or no problems but I think the old versions of their products are much better. I also purchased their jar sealers and had trouble sealing the jars with my newer sealer and using the jar sealer with my old sealer I had no problem. Maybe they can make improvements on their vacuum zipper bags. I also bought the hand held vacuum sealer and that was a waste of money. I thought it would lesson time but still have to set up the big guy to get it done.

A very useful product
I use these all the time and have found the best prices for them on Amazon. The only thing I would like to see improved is the thickness. This is the only reason I have given it a 4 instead of a 5 stars. It is very hard to get many uses out of then due to how easily you can get a tiny pin-prick hole...and then they become useless. Never wash them with other dishes because it seems that something will rub on it and cause damage. Other than that, I love them.
