Awesome mini fridge!
This mini fridge is awesome! I was a little worried about the bad reviews, but the price was right and I liked the retro look. I live in an RV and my power died. It's very old, and the trailer park maintenance man helped me hook up to the power box so I would have power. I bought a meter that you hook up to tell you info about the appliance plugged into it. This mini fridge is very cold, but uses less than 1 amp and only 52 watts of power! It fits a lot of drinks and the freezer actually keeps things frozen. What more can you ask for? I don't care for the flimsy handle that is only decorative and the chalk markers don't show up that well to write on it, but that's not enough for me to take away a star, because it does what a fridge is supposed to do, and an excellent job. The fact that I can use an extension cord from the box outside makes it perfect. Maybe some people got lemons, but I would buy it again without hesitation.

Good purchase
I had been looking for a mini fridge for some time. I'm disabled with a broken hip, thigh bone (femor) and knee and shoulder so I spend all day in my large bedroom so I don't have to worry about the ONE step at my bedroom doorway that I actually fell down and created this situation. So going into the kitchen isn't an easy task for me with a walker. I had ordered one last year from another company and after waiting for quite some time it never came. Resolved the issue and got my money back. So I was shopping again for one and decided on this because it was a brand name product that has been making refrigerators for many years, so I was feeling confident on making a better choice this time. I'm alone all day when my son goes to work and have to fend for myself. I'm totally happy with it! I can keep my drinks cold, my son gets me lunchmeats and cheese that I keep in there as well as the mayo to make myself a sandwich. I also keep my yogurts and cottage cheese I love and fruit cold or any leftovers from a meal I didn't finish. I love it! I have it right next to my recliner and bed and I don't hear any noises at all. Totally quite, I don't even hear any at night while sleeping, and it's close enough to touch from where I'm laying in the bed. The freezer gets frosty and cold, I put my bottles of iced tea in it and after awhile they will freeze up, but ice cream didn't stay frozen, it was soft. But I can deal with that. My granddaughter loves writing on it with the pens that came with it. She draws me pictures, which is easy to wipe off with a paper towel. You won't be disappointed, I wasn't.

Good for the price
This little fridge is good for the price. I like the retro style, and it's not disturbingly loud. It does make a bit of a whirring sound, but it's not possible to have a completely silent compressor without a construction that would add significant weight and cost to it.My two complaints with it are:1. If I set the thermostat cold enough to keep beverages on the bottom shelf pleasantly chilled to my taste then you get very rapid buildup of frost in the freezer compartment. So that you need to defrost it quite frequently, like every couple of weeks, to keep that area from becoming a solid block of ice. I will say, though, that the defrost function, activated by pushing in the center of the temperature setting dial, is quite convenient. You will need to put a towel or something at the bottom of the fridge to absorb the melt runoff. But, well, that melted ice has to go somewhere, after all.2: The feet on the bottom are too slippery. The fridge isn't heavy enough for just gravity alone to hold it place when you open the door. Due to safety concerns modern refrigerators do not have actual latches on the doors which could result in a child or a pet getting trapped inside. Instead, they use a partial vacuum or friction to keep the door closed and sealed. In the case of this particular fridge, the door seals so tightly that you cannot open it with one hand. You will just pull the whole fridge towards you if you try to. You have to hold the fridge firmly in placewith one hand to keep it from sliding while pulling the door open with the other hand. Sticky feet onthe bottom would at least help some to make it stay in place while opening the door. But I even duct taped it on both sides with 3 inch Gorilla tape to hold the bottom of the fridge to themetal shelf it was sitting on, but that isn't an ideal solution. It's still better to hold the fridge with onehand while pulling the door open with the other. Finally, and this isn't a complaint but just an observation. The plastic attachments that go on the inside of the door to hold canned and bottled beverages are a cute idea if a beverage cooler is your main intended purpose for this fridge. But unless you remove those attachments you won't have much room to put anything on the shelves inside. Those attachments protrude into and take up a lot of the interior space.

Looks Solid
This is an early review as it was only just delivered. From the time of order, it has taken just over 5 weeks to receive. The box came via UPS. It was not damaged as I inspected it, nor was the refrigerator damaged, and it looks great. The instructions state that if it was horizontally for an extended period, wait 24 hours. I plugged it in right away. I have a digital thermometer inside, and within an hour, it's already reached 39 degrees, as I have it set to its lowest setting. it's very quiet it looks good. I have zero complaints at this point in time. Would I buy this again? Absolutely, for $110. I think I paid $110.00 with Amazon, at Costco out the door with something similar is @ $180 dollars. God bless you all.
