Delighted I've been able to obtain a hardback copy of this particular Prayer Bible, as it's been out of print for a long time and my soft cover edition has become rather 'floppy' and worn.This excellent Prayer Bible has a multitude 'prayer prompts' in a narrow side column on each page. Each prompt offers the reader direction in how to pray the Scriptures by praying the actual words of Scripture or by using the Scripture as a springboard to formulate ones own prayers.Included are 'Prayer Paths', these are the Prayer Bible's teaching tool. You can walk these 'Prayer Paths' through Scripture to learn about key prayer topics and how to apply them to your personal prayer life and so much more.Selected throughout this Prayer Bible are Prayer Quotes. In addition each book of the Bible begins with an introduction to that book. There are also Prayer Programmes and a Topical Guide to Bible prayers.

Loved this prayer bible

A student of prayer, I eagerly purchased a copy of the Prayer Bible several years ago and immediately fell in love with it and all its ancillary information. I still turn to John MacArthur and Charles Stanley for deep commentary, etc. I so loved the Prayer Bible I made two additional LARGE order purchases. I gifted the Prayer Bible to many. Now it is impossible for me to get more, let alone at the about $17 for the paper backs that I previously ordered. Many Christians are insecure and/or untrained about prayer and this wonderful book makes being a person of prayer easy. Each page has multiple specific prayers that relate to various Scripture passages. The stories of answered prayer and other beneficial material is great too for further prayer insights. I did also acquire a hard cover, but have not yet used it. My paper back is so well used it has been repaired with tape and it's cover is partially gone. The page edges are dirty from much use too. This Prayer Bible is a valuable resource for Christians of all maturity levels in their "walk."

Since I got this bible, it is has transformed my prayer life. I use it all the time. I love the side panels with prayers that go along with the scriptures. I would recommend to anyone wanting to have deeper uncomplicated prayer life. I love the simplicity and the depth that is has at the same time. I don't have to be sitting trying to come up with things to pray about with the scripture and the side panels it helps me to create my own prayers that are not only meaningful but simple and to the point.
