Mask Extender Lanyard,Anti-Tightening Comfortable Ear Strap Extension Hook Black 4 PCS

If I'd realized how much more comfortable these would make my reusable masks, I'd have bought them LONG ago! I was amazed at the difference they make. Even with adjustable ear-loops, my masks usually managed to slip off my nose or slide off my ears or both. I was amazed at the "custom fit" the extender creates. So simple to use, just attach the clips to the ear-loops, put on the mask and the extender, then adjust the extender to your head-size (it is very generous, for people with large heads, and can be made nice and "small" for people like me) and the mask itself, and there you go! The mask stays right where you put it, covering perfectly, and no sore ears! I wear glasses and now can take off glasses or mask without tangling one with the other. I'd worried that the extender might feel annoying or uncomfortable, but it can be made snug without putting any real pressure. So far the sliding "bead" for adjusting has moved easily and smoothly on the extenders I have used. When ready to remove my mask, I just pull my mask down to take the tension off the extender, then it's simply slide the "bead" on the extender back so that the full loop is open, and plenty of room to remove everything. I don't normally wear a mask for more than a couple of hours at a time, so I can't speak for anyone who wears one all day long, but for my purposes, these are wonderful. What a difference! No constant pushing the mask back up to cover my nose properly, having it slide down when I talk, etc. And my glasses don't fog up now, unless I'm huffing and puffing, the way they often used to do with just regular breathing. I'm ordering a second package right away to be sure I DO have some "in reserve" and/or to share a "sample" with a friend or two.

These are great! I work in Urgent Care and wear a surgical mask all day long. The ear loops on most masks pull too much/too tight on my ears. With this lanyard, I clip it into the mask's ear loops and can then adjust the toggle to make it just snug enough. This also allows me to wear the lanyard at the base of my neck vs the back or top of my head, which is a lot more comfortable for me. Bonus: if I want to take a sip of coffee, etc., I can loosen the toggle and leave the mask on but hanging down below my chin until I'm done. I wear glasses so this is preferable to taking the mask of, as I usually get my ear loops tangled in my glasses otherwise.

Good tool for masks

I have a big head and the back of my ears often hurt after wearing a mask for a while. These mask extenders really help me. I use them with KN95 masks. The mask straps still rest on the top of my ears but are pulled back so they don't hurt the back of my ears. I also like to make this mask extender really tight to make the mask fit nice and snug.

I bought these because family members complained about the ear elastic being too tight. My daughter used one for just a few days and the fastener broke. The fastener is a brittle plastic. They probably would be fine to use as a lanyard but the stress of pulling the elastic was too much.

I have one on all three of my masks and have a back-up, and wouldn't consider putting on a mask without one of these attached now. I can adjust the cord to ease the pressure on my ears, loosen it to let the mask hang when I don't need it, so the mask doesn't get lost or thrown on a dirty surface, and the clips are strong and secure.

I stupidly bought these twice so my son had one for each day of the week and they all fell apart within a few weeks. Don't waist your money. the plastic part comes out and they gets lots and you are unable to use it again.
