2-year Accidental Damage insurance for a SMALL KITCHEN APPLIANCE from £150 to £199.99

With sadness I had to cancel this after being refunded for the item it was meant for, but this great yet cheap insurance is well a must have company that I will use for my home and its contents

I did not expect to buy a defective product.

I bought a 9L 2 drawer Airfryer for £199.99 and bought the insurance as well.The Airfryer just cut out, approx 2 years later.Claimed on the breakdown insurance, had to send the Airfryer to the insurance company and theyhave offered me a gift card for £79.99 or another fryer to the same value of £79.99.I would like to know where they are thinking they can get another 9L double drawer fryer for that price.Bit of a con to be honest, but it was sorted within a week!!

Bought an air fryer on sale (roughly 50% off) and bought insurance to cover the item for accidental damage as stated. Claimed at 1yr 1month and was told I can only get a refund for the amount paid as unable to replace (even though still in stock and very much available???) Very disappointing as was not clear that insurance is limited to amount paid rather than value of item. You would think you’re paying for accidental damage cover not an extended refund window…. Essentially useless if bought with sale items.
