Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT Solar Charge Controller - Charge Controllers for Solar Panels - 75V, 15 amp, 12/24-Volt

I tested the unit with combinations of 1 , 2 and 3 panels in series. It performed well in all 3 tests. The current increased in almost the exact multiple of the number of panels. The only down side is not being able to adjust the voltage parameters of the charge. To monitor or adjust requires an additional part. (bluetooth adapter) This is a decent tradeoff, since the unit seemed to recognize the battery type and control correctly. Just dont know the float voltage setpoint. This is 2 to 3 times the price of a PWM model but truly worth it. Dont waist money on cheap PWM models, the MPPT will give you the output you deserve from your panels.

Excellent value for a true mppt charge controller. Perfect pairing for my 2 100 watt panels wired in series I recommend getting the Victron bluetooth adapter for changing parameters and fine tuning things like streetlight function. Unit has many options for battery types, ability to charge, float, equalize if needed. Full adjustable charging parameters. First two days it was able to charge my battery to the first time in months. Much easier than using a cheap, knockoff “mppt” controller. Solid unit that doesn’t need fans to keep cool, so it’s quiet while doing it’s job.

Works great. Just be sure to get the one with Bluetooth as changing battery chemistry or monitoring on the non-bluetooth model is very difficult and requires additional purchases/hardware

Truly impressed. Well-designed, an accurate and informative app for your phone, and capabilities far beyond what I need. Be sure to set your battery type in the app. I've run the 100/15 and the 75/15 with three different portable solar panels and the results have been very positive. Highly recommended.

I've been running this charger for about 6 months now. Most of the time in my location, it will charge a 20Ah battery that I have connected to it. The battery will discharge at night when it powers a few lights, and then it charges up the next day. If the battery can't charge or doesn't charge to a point where it can power the lights all day. The Victron MPPT 75/15 will lose power. If it does, then it loses its calibration and will never charge the battery again until I physically connect a laptop to it using a USB cable and reset it. All it will do until then is flash a blue light until it's reset. Unplugging it from the solar panels and battery for several minutes does not reset it. One of the major points of a solar charge controller is to charge a battery. If I need to go reset it after every time it's cloudy for 3 or more days in a row. Then this charger is garbage. It's a waste of money. completely unreliable.

Since I installed the Victron 75/15A solar charge controller, my panels perform almost 100%. This solar charge controller allows for custom adjustments that make it very versatile. I would like to suggest to manufacturers that they add at least a heat deciption, even if it is minimal. I don't give it five stars because in my experience I've noticed that it gets quite hot in summer.

This comment is just a "heads up" about ordering. This is my 3rd Victron controller. The first two had Bluetooth capability. Wanting another 75/15 controller I reflexively ordered a second thinking I was getting a "SmartSolar" controller. Oops! Instead I ordered a "BlueSolar" model controller which LACKS the BlueTooth capability to connect to your phone via the VictronConnect app. This apps allows the user to monitor the SoC of the batteries, the amount of voltage and current from the solar panels, voltage and actual current current to the batteries. If one wants BlueTooth with the BlueSolar, one must also order the "V.E. Direct" BlueTooth interface module. Else, order the "SmartSolar" model that has BlueTooth built in. (In either case, the VictronConnect app is downloadable at no charge.

Love this controller. It was working all winter for the battery at my chicken coop (for night light). The controller was set for streetlight and would turn on the lights at dusk for about 4 hours. One thing to note is that if you want connectivity with another device, like your smartphone, be sure to get the Bluetooth version. I didn’t and also ended up getting the add on Bluetooth. The one I installed for my RV has Bluetooth built in which reduces the amount of wires.

Funciona fantástico, con placa de 100W carga perfectamente la batería auxiliar de 108A OJOOOOO no tiene el bluetooth incorporado,hay que comprar el módulo a parte que vale unos 45€

Ich habe den Victron MPPT Laderegler zum Betrieb eines EcoFlow Solarpanels an meiner neu eingebauten LiFePO4 Aufbaubatterie im Camper Van gekauft. Die Anschluss und Installation sind super einfach. Achtung: Das Gerät hier, ist die Version ohne Bluetooth! Es kann nicht ohne weiteres mit der Victron App benutzt werden. Ich habe des Gerät deshalb gegen die etwas teurere Version getauscht.
