Spendy, and probably should be sold in pairs instead of single so you can be assured of getting the same coloring/die lot if using 2 as pictured. I like it!
It is not silk. It's a rougher material than silk. It also very long but i love it. When it arrived it was very easy to handle and you don't need to do much to make it move. It flows perfectly fine.

It's a cute toy, but if you try it out professionally, you'll need a more expensive fan. The fabric looked nothing like the image; it was rather crumpled and ragged looking. More or less for training and playing. Won't do too much with it either, the fan itself is extremely fragile and one wrong move could rip and break it. If you are looking for something affordable and versatile, this is not it.

Don't bother, it's a cheap toy
Terrible fabric, the decorations fell off immediately after pulling the fans from the plastic bag they were shipped in, terrible movement. I would suggest only as a practice veil and even that is hard because the fabric is so stiff you don't get great movement from them. These are a toy and not for a real belly dancer.

Edges are kind of frayed on one side but for the price I don't mind! I bought this to bring to a festival and not use for belly dancing so the lesser quality doesn't bother me.

it was fantastic i love this item because of the bright vibrant colors and fluidity of movement.i would buy the other colors

poorly made
The colors are beautiful, but there are many flaws in the item. 1st, the little decorative stars fall of easily and did so upon taking the item out of the bag. 2nd, the material does not have a seam and is very shabby and easy to shred around the edges. 3rd, there was a terrible odor that I couldn't seem to get rid of, I'm not sure if its the wood, storage smell or glue but its not pleasant. They probably won't last long. Not worth $10 ea, better off paying $5 ea.
