Krylon K03607000 Wood Stain Earthen Brown Spray Stain

This product is great for wood furniture of any kind that is already assembled with tons of nooks and crannies in Ingles to get stain into .We did a dozen tables for commercial use with sanded 2 x 6 plank tops . Sanded tops and beveled the outside’s .I sprayed two cans at the same time simultaneously and drenched the tables . I mixed and matched all the colors . I had dark brown and one hand and redwood spray in the other - I shot the dozen tables with about a dozen cans and someone followed up behind me 15 minutes later and wiped off any excess .... COULDNT BE MORE HAPPY WITH THE EASE AND OUTCOME !!The canned states the stain is water repellent , which it is . It also states that the stain does not require a finish clearcoat ... I believe this to be true for light to moderate tabletop use or no use for trim and fencing etc.After about a week I put a couple coats of high-grade clear matte finish on it . It complemented the stain perfectly .

This spray on stain is so pretty. I got Earthen brown to use on a weathered wicker outdoor settee. It was already brown but was faded. This stain perked it right up. Granted, it takes a little longer to dry but worth the wait. Have always like Krylon spray paint as it dries quickly. The stain takes longer than their paint. Is a little pricey but I can’t imagine trying to get even coverage on wicker by wiping it on. Spray is awesome.

Overall a good product. The can allows for both horizontal and vertical spraying which is very convenient when working in tight spaces or on oddly shaped projects. The product does not go very far square footage wise, only about 25sq ft per can. This is very limiting, however I suppose you sacrifice coverage for convenience. The stain isn't too great at penetrating wood (compared to high quality oil-based stains available), but it still gets the job done. When dry you can still see some wood grain through the coating, but the finish isn't as sleek and rich as typical brushed-on stains. I used the product to paint the wood beams around a planter in my front yard, so I wasn't overly concerned with the finish anyway. I would recommend using this product for smaller outdoor jobs (mailbox posts, planters, playgrounds, garden accents) but I would caution against using this for anything that you will be using often, as the finish isn't very impressive.

This product worked wonderfully. I used it on outdoor items hasn’t faded. It has stayed great.

We painted some furniture pieces with rattan. It's a bit darker but still obvious brown looking to the finish. But I can say it's very dark so test an area and let it dry before using to make sure it's a good fit. It takes a long time to dry maybe wait a day or two before touching.

This item is not good.... My piece of furniture was sprayed 3 days ago and is still not dry, currently sitting outside and has been for the past 2 days now. The substance is very oily and is very sticky.... I will never use this type of product again. It has ruined my furniture by remaining wet and sticky.....never again....

The paint is fine but I didn't like the color and it's hide the wood texture.

applied to the mailbox on maybe 5 minutes, it was amazing. wiped it down and did a second coat over and it looks great
