Bad experience with refurbished
This is the first time I ever purchased something that was refurbished. It works great for about three cups of coffee and I was very pleased, but today it decided it no longer wanted to work. I had been moving all day and was very excited for a cup of coffee, needless to say I was a little disappointed.

Received item in like new condition and it works great. Just what I needed when I don't want to make a pot of coffee.

Such Ease
My cousin had one of these when I stayed at her place a few weeks ago and I was hooked. It's very basis and simple: water in, K-pod in, lid shut, brew button pushed and out comes hot coffee right into my mug. A variety of K-pods means I can have a different coffee every morning. I bought a refurbished model which only has a 30-day warranty rather the one-year warranty for a new model. So far so good. I have some reservations! The cost per cup is definitely higher than using coffee in a bag. There is added waste because although the K-pods can be disassembled and partially recycled, doing that make something simple complicated as does using refillable pods. Finally, there are the current concerns over microplastics getting into our bodies. This machine is mostly plastic as is the K-pod. The brewing water heats to about 192 degrees. I don't put plastics in my microwave and maybe I shouldn't be using hot plastics to make my coffee.

So far so good for the refurb
Wasn’t sure about a refurb. So far so good. It’s in new condition physically and functionally. I own a larger Keurig with more features. I bought this one as a compact travel companion. It meets that requirement just fine. Brew speed just a bit slower the the larger unit. Purchase and delivery were smooth.
