It works well... After you adjust the "c4" thing the circuit board (variable resistor?)
It works, but not outside of the garage, lol. For it to be useful I need some more range. Does anyone out there know how to get more range with this? The battery is full, so what could be the problem? (Less important: I added a picture of the little circuit board, what is c4?)....months later...upon closer inspection, I see a Philips scew spot in the "c4" spot on the circuit board...ahhh a variable resistor or sth like that, so I stood outside the garage at the range I wanted turned the little screwdriver while pushing the button...it works very well! Review changed to 5... User error on my behalf

works but don't hit heavy bumps unless you want it to come apart
Works perfect when it stay together. It has a heavy 9V battery in it. I hit some heavy bumps one day and it all came apart and landed in my lap. glad I wasn't in heavy traffic. I wrapped it with some electrical tape to prevent it from happening again.

Finally gate compatible
The remote is the 3rd I ordered, but it worked like a charm. Easy to program.

Great Opener
We had smaller gate openers, NICE, but they did not always work and you had to be close to the gate. These Digi-Code are bigger and clunkier but they work and work well. I can open and close my gate from the house or when I coming home, from down the street. The best opener for the money!

Solution for Gated Communities
We live in a gated community and need a opener for getting in in the evenings. They want $25 from our office, but someone told me about the Digi-code. This was easy to set (you have to know what the pin settings are, which my neighbor let me look at his), push the small pins to the appropriate numbers, slide the cover back on and stick it on the visor. I'm buying another one for our motorhome so I don't have to remember to switch it from the car.

A few things here. First, it arrived early! Second, it works better than the original Chamberlain Tri-Code unit we have (more responsive and longer range). Third, it was very easy to set the 10 DIP switches (nice instructions are included, which clearly indicate the correct ON/OFF positions). You only must be certain of your garage door's radio frequency (I got the 300mHz, but this seller also has the 310 for same price). Finally, for $10 (incl shipping and handling), it's tough to beat the price. Outstanding value!
