Seems over-engineered and heavy but certainly strong and durable. The std Blunt is borderline too heavy too - again, sturdy and strong. Tried the Weatherman umbrellas, travel, stick, and 62 golf. Comparing the golf both brands, would go with the Blunt. Kept the Weatherman travel, passed on the others. Landed with Certain Standard stick umbrellas, super light and simple even though not a comparison due to size but it's just so easy due to lightweight.

I genuinely loved this umbrella the moment I opened it, feels super sturdy and I truly feel like two people would be perfectly covered with this umbrella, super sleek. Love it

This was my second Blunt of this model. I had the first one 3 years and it was amazing. Stood up to the strongest winds and kept my dry in driving rains. I broke it recently and within an hour I ordered a new one. I have no doubt it will be every bit as good as the first one. Great product. Recently bought 2 limited edition collapsible ones to give as Christmas gifts to people who coveted my umbrella over the years.

The umbrella is solid and sturdy. It is clearly a step above the rest. The only complaint is it is a little bit heavy. But if you want a sturdy well built umbrella this the one to get.

Great look with a luxurious, substantial feel.

The umbrella is very well made with a heavy canopy and strong ribs. The opening and closing action is very positive and feels like it will last. I have been thinking about purchasing a Blunt umbrella for a while and I'm glad I did, highly recommended.

Although I have not used it in the rain, the umbrella appears well built. It feels solid and should be able to survive some wind.

Pour moi, Blunt produit le meilleur parapluie tempête. Il ne s'est jamais retourné ! Par contre, le mécanisme de fermeture peut lâcher au bout de quelques années...

nachdem in den letzten drei Monaten (und auch früher schon immer mal wieder) zwei fast neue Schirme durch Windböen geschrottet wurden, habe ich mich nun für den Blunt entschieden. Er macht einfach einen wesentlich stabileren Eindruck und die ganze Mechanik und die Streben sind nicht so'n Blechspielzeug wie bei den meisten anderen Schirmen, ist dafür aber eben auch schwerer!Er kam rechtzeitig zu den Sturmausläufern, so dass ich ihn gleich auf Herz und Nieren testen konnte, und er hält, was er verspricht (ob es nun 115km/h waren, kann ich nicht sagen), echt windfest, er hat auch bei anständigen Böen keine Meine verzogen! Meine Empfehlung für Leute, die das so auch gerne wollen.

Toller Schirm für Zwei. Habe schon die kleinere Variante und werde mir ganz sicher nie wieder einen anderen Regenschirm kaufen. Sehr stabil, nicht so schwer und durch die Schirmtasche lässt er sich prima umhängen. Gerade bei dem Wetter genial, wo man nicht weiß ob es nun regnen wird oder nicht. Die Hände hat man frei und trotzdem einen Regenschirm dabei.

I'm soaked and extremely pissed.I now own the 54" Blunt stick umbrella for 5 months and have been using it in mild weather ( rainy but not windy). Everything seemed fine, the umbrella was big and sturdy.But when I needed the Umbrella the MOST ( now in September ) it broke in the VERY FIRST WIND GUST.The umbrella is not capable of bending backward and 2 of the 6 Supportbeams just snapped.This was probably the 3rd or 4th time i ever used this umbrella and now this !If both this 100$ umbrella and a 30 $ umbrella break in windy rain then what's the point?I was thinking of 2 Stars, but they say '' it's built for life'' so 1 star it is.
