Whether you have a power outage, you're camping, driving, or just simply need an extra plug, this is an amazing tool to have. We use it for everything, even when we need things charged up on road trips. The battery life is great and it's not terribly heavy (I mean you'd probably still get mad if it drops on your toe, right?) and it's a pretty compact product, making it fit anywhere. Keep in mind there are only two USB ports, wish there was one more but not a deal breaker for us. There is only one plug, which is also annoying but we still love having this product in the house. We feel safer knowing that we can still charge our phones or we can still watch our son's monitor while sleeping without having to keep the door open during a power outage. The only big frustration at first was turning it on. I kept pressing the button at the top but I was supposed to hold it down. I almost returned it before my husband found this out, so heads up, to turn it on, you need to press the button for a period of time. Overall, highly recommend this product!

I’m using this power source with my Ryobi 18V ONE+ batteries, and it’s been solid so far. It attaches cleanly to the battery, powers on right away, and delivers steady output. The USB ports are great for phones and small gear, and having the 110V outlet makes it way more useful than a basic charger. I’ve used it to run small electronics and charge devices when I’m out for the day on by SxS, and it hasn’t had any issues. It’s not meant for heavy tools, but for light-duty power on the go, it does the job really well.

Excellent product. After a power loss, I was very surprised how long this power source kept a very small LCD TV running. Used antenna in attic (no power draw) and small newer TV that only draws 15W and the TV ran for hours. What a a great battery backup for small devices in a power outage. Great device and yet to use the USB ports to charge phones but what a great option that is if you already have Ryobi tools and batteries in the home.

Living in Guam, we tend to have power issues a lot, plus the occasional typhoon comes through. We recently had our worst typhoon in 20 years and power was out for the whole island. I had received this about a week prior, before the typhhon had even been named. What luck. ALl of my tools are Ryobi, so I have like 12 batteries and a 6 pack charger. When we lost power (which ended up being close to 11 days), we were able to keep our cell phones and tablets / ipads charged. Our cell company maintained service, so at least we were able to contact folks, track recovery status and provide some entertainment. My work place had a generator for the building, so I was able to recharge the batteries there. The lights and operation were pretty straight forward once I realized when you initially turned it on, you had to hold the power button and wait for the inverter to power up. first few times I didn't hold long enough and though the battery was too low. I didn't get into too much testing in terms of other appliances, items (except my Kurig, which was too big a load) This is small, light portable, and if you already have a supply of Ryobi batteries, a no brainer.

Just understand this is not a high power unit. There are loads of things you can power at less than 150W. I did a soldering job with it. It was more convenient then fetching an extension cord. The USE ports work OK, but they don't charge as fast as some chargers I have. The flashlight is a handy thing. Not super bright, but very convenient.
