Got this to upgrade power in home office desktop. Insures quality power for a CPU, Memory and SSD upgrade. Value upgrading work from home systems affordably. Nice build quality, like the black cables looks more upscale. Amazon sale priced. Pleased with the purchase. All the machines are faster, quieter, cooler.

I'm building a small rig and needed a basic power supply just for the motherboard and CPU, with enough headroom that adding on a few things in the future won't require me to buy an entirely new PSU. This thing has been absolutely perfect. I absolutely love EVGA and their service can't be beat by anybody; I always go EVGA when I can. I ended up going with a Seasonic PSU first, which after ten minutes started popping and sparking. I immediately tossed it and ordered this EVGA unit instead.I was thrilled when everything started right up and none of by components had been ruined by the prior Seasonic PSU. This EVGA unit is quiet, has fantastic build quality, and just does what it needs to do. I have literally never had a significant problem with an EVGA product - PSU or not - and the few times I've had a minor issue, EVGA support has gone above and beyond to resolve them.If you want to buy a PSU and just know it will work and that you'll have a quality product, this or any other EVGA unit is the one to get. You can buy it knowing that it's EXTREMELY unlikely anything will go wrong, but that even if something does happen you'll be backed up by what is literally the absolute best support team in the business.Just get it.

rather quiet when in the case but if you are running an open bench it will be noticeableit only has one daisy chained 6+2 but this is technically valid because its a 500 watt

It has a large diameter fan in it, and does not make much noise. It comes with black screws to match its blackness. I prefer modular supplies, but this is for a low budget computer, and it worked great.Only complaint is the decal on the supply. Where the power supply is located (top of case), the decal is now upside down. It looks a little odd, but not a problem as the case has all metal sides.

This power supply is an excellent budget-friendly option for any mid-range gaming PC. It has served me well for approximately five years, proving to be both reliable and efficient.

My server working 24/7 mostly shares files and running plex, i also use it as vpn and media center for the tv at home. This psu has 2 cpu connectors and two pci-e connections with 8 pins, in fact this is just single cable that splitting into 2 pci-e connectors. So the recommended (continuous) power for it is up 150w but you can connect even more demanding cards but if you running them for mining 24/7, this is not recommended to go above 150w as this cables will get warm overtime for gamers this is fine I believes.Works perfectly no reboots. Got a huge fan on it. This kind of fan making some fan noise but nothing that bothering me. from 2 meters distance i unable to hear a anything.

Used this on a low cost gaming pc I sold for a profit. The build came out well and I was glad this unit has al black sleeved units and is 80+ bronze instead of being a 80+ white label.

So I recently did my first PC build and having this power supply made everything so easy. have not had any issues with it and have been using it for days, hours on end and I have a beefy setup for it. never had an issue. getting for building.
