Bought them in "Very Good" condition for $34 instead of new for $42. So that was a mistake. For anyone looking at the options, just buy brand new. I was expecting the item to be one that was returned by a customer or opened at the warehouse, etc., basically new condition, but open box. The box looked like it had served infantry in Iraq. The paint was chipped with scratches throughout, with the only plus side being that there was no rust on the damage. I already have four Black Jack 3 ton single locking jack stands, but I wanted two more so that I can have one car fully lifted with another jacked up on one side for minor work, and if I'm working on only one car, double locking jack stands would be in opposite corners to give me time to get to safety in case things went south, towards the center of the earth. Other people were complaining about the jacks wobbling, but I didn't notice anything significant, at least comparable to the other four. I believe 5 of the 6 had minor wobbling (less than 2mm or so), but that may be due to uneven flooring or debris under the jack stands. Under load, they were rock solid. Others share the same opinion as me when they say they would have liked a system to hold the pin. As it is, moving the jack stands is not a stealthy mission. Carrying them was comparable to WWII air raid sirens with all the clanging. I would have appreciated a little clip or something of the sort on the side to put the pins in. Overall, they are decent. I'm a bit of a stickler for keeping things looking new for as long as possible, but I don't think I'll look for a replacement since functionally, they are excellent and fit right in with the other four jack stands. Was the $8 worth the condition, no, but like most other online sales, all you have to work with is a stock image, and this was a wager lost.

You do get what you pay for, these would be a bit better made, but for the price, it's a no-brainer. Jacked up my Supra and Celica many times with these (ON THE GRAVEL) and they work great. the backup lock pin is a great touch that makes me feel more secure. I already had access to my roomates stands, but it's just nice to have ones of your own around for this price.

Good solid product. Never feel nervous when I’m under a car. Been out in the weather and no signs of rust or cracks. Been using it for years now.

Had to do a tire rotation. Already had one pair, needed another so the whole car can be up. No issues.

The jacks stand looks and feels just the same as the Torin stand I already have. The stand on the right in my photos is the one from Amazon and the left one is my older Torin. The new jack stands have an added safety feature that help mitigate a concern I've always had. They come with and additional triangular shaped pin that is inserted after the stand is set to he correct height. The pin prevents the release handle from being lift prematurely and prevents the load from falling. These stand are definitely a steal at this price. They have been test with my Subaru Wagon and I felt much safer using them.

This set of stands is very sturdy. I had them to support a 1.5 ton vehicle for three full days (because I couldn’t get a part required in time) without any problem. The welds appear to be nicely done from my necked eye. I like the extra steel bar for added safety albeit it can be a bit difficult to insert and remove because I’d have to position it right. So if you’d prefer fast deployment, this stand would not satisfy your need there. But on the other hand, you would have a visual confirmation of the stand is locked before going underneath the vehicle.
