This game is out of sight so fun to play I had rod hockey as a kid and now the boys love it we have tournaments cause they are both in soccer and it just keeps going worth every penny and the laughs and enjoyment you get are priceless

Our grandsons have truly enjoyed playing against each other and challenging their grandfather who remembered these games fondly from his childhood. It is well made and designed. We were able to order extra balls which has proven helpful when a player kicks one to parts unknown. Great for getting the boys away from their screens for a little while.

My son and husband love playing this game together. Both love football so this was the perfect cheaper and space conscious alternative. Great bonding for them and I would recommend for anyone who love football but dont want to spend a ton or dont have room.

Arrived in 2 days and only took 5 minutes to assemble and start playing. Kids are having a blast playing almost daily. It is more fun than a small foosball as you can pass and shoot with a lot more control. You can see them getting better and trying out different moves and shots. Our game is the 2023 version with the black cabinet. The seller told us there are numerous improvements to the men, rods and balls compared to the old green cabinet games made before 2020. The green ones were made in China, but these new units are made in Europe at the same STIGA factory where their table hockey games are manufactured.

Stiga make the best "rod games" around, hands down. Production quality is top-notch, and it lasts for years if treated well. I could rave for ages about just how much fun this game is. Suffice it to say -- Stiga have been making these games for decades, and they are not about to stop now. This game has survived in the video game age, and will continue to be loved by young and old for many more decades. Stiga Soccer is a dexterity game where skill can make a big difference in one's ability to score. However, neither skill nor age will determine how much fun one can have playing the game. From a practical point of view -- ALL parts can be replaced or exchanged if anything ever brakes. However, unless stepped on or treated carelessly, this game will last long enough to be passed from one generation to the next. Stiga Soccer is a 6-star purchase!

...for $85 I expected instructions I could understand!!! No information on which players go where!!! Furthermore, inserting players is a difficult effort for fear of breaking the rod or foot connector. Not worth the money or the effort! This is crap.

The game is great. Of course it is slower than table hockey, it is soccer not hockey! And of course it isn't made like it was back in the 1970s, since it is 2015. But I have had this game for over a year and my kids and I play it all the time. It is fun and a great break from video games. The rods, the playing surface, the nets and even the balls have all held up well. And replacement parts and world cup teams are available in needed. If you like soccer or grew up playing table hockey and find that your kids now like soccer, this is a fun variation of the game.
